Just press through and touch Him!

“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” Mark 5:25-29 KJV

The woman with the issue of blood had endured twelve years of suffering. She had consulted many physicians, spent everything she had, and yet her condition became worse. However, when she heard about Jesus, she refused to allow the crowd, her weakness, her disappointment, or her past failures to stop her. She pressed through and touched His garment in faith. Her touch was not casual; it was an expression of desperation, expectation, and complete trust in the power of Christ. The moment she touched Him, her long-standing affliction came to an end. This account reminds us that no situation is beyond the reach of God when we approach Him with persistent faith.

Your situation may appear impossible, and you may have exhausted every human option available to you. Nevertheless, do not surrender to discouragement. Press into God through prayer. Elijah persisted in prayer until the promised rain appeared (1 Kings 18:41–46). Cornelius continued in prayer and giving until his prayers came before God as a memorial (Acts 10:1–4). Jacob wrestled through the night and refused to let go until he received a blessing (Genesis 32:24–28). Hannah poured out her soul before the Lord until she received peace and eventually obtained her testimony (1 Samuel 1:10–18). Whatever battle you may be facing, continue to seek God. You cannot genuinely encounter His presence and remain unchanged.

Prophetic Word: I declare that every long-standing situation in your life is coming under the authority of Jesus Christ. As you press into God in faith, every barrier resisting your progress will give way. Where you have experienced repeated disappointment, you will receive divine intervention. Where doors have remained closed, God will make a way. Your season of tears will give way to a season of testimony, and the power of God will bring restoration, peace, healing, and breakthrough into every area of your life in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You with faith and expectation. Give me the strength to press through every obstacle, disappointment, and delay. Help me to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust You completely. As I reach out to You today, let every burden be lifted, every chain be broken, and every impossible situation receive Your divine intervention. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You cannot be powerless!

“God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.” Psalm 62:11 KJV

Power belongs absolutely to God, and He makes His power available to His children. Jesus declared, “Behold, I give unto you power… over all the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19). Therefore, a believer is not designed to be powerless. Through the Holy Spirit, God empowers us to overcome opposition, resist the enemy, serve effectively and become witnesses of Christ (Acts 1:8; Ephesians 3:16). However, possessing spiritual power requires prayer and a deliberate relationship with God.

Before beginning their public ministry, Jesus instructed His disciples to remain in Jerusalem until they were “endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:49). Jesus Himself prayed before the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him (Luke 3:21–22). Jacob persevered in God’s presence until his identity and destiny were transformed (Genesis 32:24–28), while Jabez cried to God for enlargement, protection and divine intervention, and God granted his request (1 Chronicles 4:9–10). Therefore, set aside time daily to seek God. When you are dissatisfied with the fruit your life is producing, do not merely complain; seek the power of God that enables you to access His promises, overcome limitations and fulfil your divine assignment.

Prophetic Word: I declare that every yoke of powerlessness is broken in your life and destiny. The power of the Holy Spirit will come upon you afresh. You will receive strength to overcome every resistance. From today, your life will produce evidence of God’s presence, power and glory, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, I acknowledge that all power belongs to You. Please forgive me for every way I have neglected prayer, Your Word and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Fill me afresh with power from on high. Strengthen me in my inner being, break every limitation opposing my destiny and empower me to live victoriously. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Through God!

“Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” Psalm 60:12 KJV

There are many things that become possible when we depend completely on God. Through Him, we receive victory even in situations where we feel weak, inadequate, or incapable. Our limitations do not limit God. When we surrender every area of our lives to Him, He supplies the strength, wisdom, courage, and grace required to overcome. Paul confidently declared, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13). David defeated Goliath in the name of the Lord (1 Samuel 17:45–50), while Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah experienced victory when they sought the Lord and trusted Him to fight their battle (2 Chronicles 20:12–22).

Scripture repeatedly shows that those who depend on God are never abandoned (Psalm 125:1). Peter experienced an extraordinary catch of fish when he obeyed the instruction of Jesus despite his previous disappointment and exhaustion (Luke 5:4–7). Therefore, we must learn to wait upon God until His promises are manifested in our lives. Job declared that he would wait until his appointed change came (Job 14:14), while Isaiah affirmed that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). Do not attempt to journey through life in your own strength. Engage the Holy Spirit, meditate on the Word of God, obey His instructions, and trust His timing. Through God, you can overcome obstacles, fulfil your purpose, and accomplish what appears impossible.

Prophetic Word: I declare that you will not be defeated by the battles before you. Through God, you will rise above every limitation and accomplish great things. The Lord will strengthen your weak hands and give you victory over every obstacle. Through God, you shall do valiantly, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I cannot succeed by my own strength. I surrender every area of my life to You. I ask You to lead, strengthen, and empower me. Help me to trust You completely, wait patiently for Your promises, and obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Tread down every opposition before me and grant me grace to accomplish everything You have called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Choose your fight!

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 KJV

Human beings are instruments in the hands of spirits, either for you or against you. If you are physically strong but spiritually weak, your destiny is not guaranteed. This is because your oppositions are not humans; they are spirits. Even when you think you are dealing with humans, you are actually dealing with spirits (1 Kings 22:20-22). Thank God you can deal with the spirits that want to use humans against you (Matthew 16:19; Job 22:28).

Stop fighting like human fights; engage God in your fights (2 Corinthians 10:4). Then you can rest amid the battle and enjoy a more than conqueror victory (Romans 8:37). Remember that the enemy is against your destiny and the purpose of God for your life. You must be discerning and choose your fight. Reply the enemy and not the instrument (Mathew 16:23, Acts 16:18)

Prophetic Word: Every hidden power operating through people to frustrate your progress shall be exposed and defeated. The Lord will grant you discernment to recognise the true nature of every battle and wisdom to respond correctly. You will not waste your strength fighting the wrong enemy.  In Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing that my battle is not against flesh and blood. Give me spiritual discernment to recognise the true source of every conflict and the wisdom not to respond in anger, bitterness, or fear. Strengthen me with Your power and clothe me with the Your whole armour. I take authority, in the name of Jesus, over every spiritual force working against my life, family, purpose, and progress.

Securing your land of inheritance!

“Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.” Genesis 13:11-12 KJV

Your land of inheritance must be spiritually discerned, not merely selected by physical sight. Lot chose the well-watered plain of Jordan because it appeared prosperous and attractive, but he failed to discern the spiritual danger associated with Sodom. What looked like an opportunity eventually brought loss, conflict, and emptiness into his life (Genesis 13:10–13; 19:15–29). In the same way, Elimelech left Bethlehem because of famine and moved his family to Moab, but the journey resulted in painful losses for his household (Ruth 1:1–5). These accounts remind us that an attractive environment is not necessarily an appointed environment. Decisions based solely on present conditions may take us away from the place where God intends to establish and bless us (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Isaac, however, received a clear instruction from God not to leave the land during a time of famine. He remained in Gerar, sowed in that land, and received a hundredfold harvest because the Lord blessed him (Genesis 26:1–3, 12–14). Although opposition arose and the Philistines repeatedly contended with him over the wells, Isaac refused to abandon God’s promise. He continued digging until God brought him into Rehoboth—a place of enlargement and fruitfulness (Genesis 26:19–22). Do not leave your land of inheritance because of temporary hardship, delay, opposition, or contention. Neither should you permit fear, discouragement, or the schemes of the enemy to drive you out of the place God has assigned to you. Remain sensitive to God’s direction, walk in divine wisdom, and depend upon His power to possess, cultivate, and secure your inheritance.

Prophetic Word: I declare that God is granting you spiritual discernment to recognise your appointed place and secure your inheritance. You will not be deceived by appearances or pressured into making decisions outside God’s will. Every force attempting to uproot you, intimidate you, or drive you away from your place of promise is defeated.  In Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the inheritance You have prepared for me. Give me the spiritual discernment to recognise the place, assignment, relationships, and opportunities You have ordained for my life. Deliver me from making decisions based only on appearances, pressure, fear, or temporary difficulties. Help me to remain faithful wherever You have planted me. IN JESUS NAME.

Breaking satanic oppositions!

“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.” Psalm 2:8-9 KJV

Satanic oppositions and barriers are real, but you have authority over them. Several years ago, a man dreamed that he was moving ahead of his contemporaries until he encountered a major barrier. While he struggled to overcome it, those who had been behind him caught up and passed him. It was only when the dream became a reality that he started dealing with it. Sometimes your dream can give you prayer points, don’t neglect them, take authority over satanic barriers and oppositions.

When something God has placed in your heart appears surrounded by resistance, you must break through to take it. David’s mighty men broke through the enemy’s camp to obtain water for him (2 Samuel 23:14–16). Similarly, the Church prayed earnestly when Peter was imprisoned, and God opened the prison doors and brought him out (Acts 12:5–10). God promises to go before His people, level difficult places, break gates of bronze, and cut through bars of iron (Isaiah 45:1–3). Our text says God gives it; you take it. How? You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a broken vessel, then you can have your inheritance and possess your possessions. You pray through to break through. No devil can stop you without your permission.

Prophetic Word: I declare that every barrier standing between you and the fulfilment of God’s purpose is being removed. Every cycle of delay, frustration, limitation, and repeated disappointment is broken. The Lord will go before you, make crooked places straight, open doors that no one can shut, and lead you into the inheritance He has prepared for you.  in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You because You are the God who gives victory and causes Your people to triumph. Arise on my behalf and remove every spiritual, physical, institutional, and personal barrier standing against Your purpose for my life. Go before me and make every crooked path straight. Break every gate of bronze and cut through every bar of iron. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Always seek God direction!

“And when David enquired of the Lord, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.”  2 Samuel 5:23KJV

David’s secret was his willingness to seek fresh instructions from God before taking action. Although David had previously defeated the Philistines, he did not assume that the same strategy would work again. When he enquired of the Lord, God gave him a completely different instruction for the new battle. This teaches us that different challenges may require different divine strategies. Scripture reminds us to trust in the Lord rather than depend entirely on our own understanding, because He alone can direct our paths correctly (Proverbs 3:5–6). When we acknowledge God in our decisions, He reveals the way we should go and gives us the wisdom required for victory (James 1:5).

I attended a meeting on Monday and Tuesday, this week. On Monday, I followed the GPS and arrived through a smooth and convenient route. On Tuesday, however, the GPS suggested a different direction. I rejected it because I believed that the route I had used successfully the previous day would still be the best option. Unfortunately, I encountered heavy traffic on the same road that had been clear on Monday. This experience reminded me that yesterday’s successful direction may not necessarily be today’s correct direction. We must remain sensitive to God’s present instruction instead of relying only on past experiences. The Holy Spirit desires to guide us continually, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it” (Isaiah 30:21). When we learn to hear and obey His voice, opposition—whether spiritual or human—will not be able to overcome us.

Prophetic Word: I decree that you will not walk in confusion or make costly decisions. The Lord will give you fresh light, clear direction, divine intelligence, and the right strategy for every situation. Your ears will hear God’s voice, your heart will recognise His leading, and your steps will be ordered by Him. Every trap prepared by the enemy will be exposed, and you will advance victoriously in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, thank You for being my guide and source of wisdom. Deliver me from depending solely on my past experiences, personal understanding, or human opinions. Teach me to enquire of You before making decisions. Let Your light shine upon my way, and do not allow confusion, fear, or deception to control my choices. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Stay on the Word!

“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”  Isaiah 40:8 KJV

No matter how difficult, uncertain, or prolonged your situation may be, remain firmly established in God’s Word. Circumstances may change, people may disappoint you, and visible evidence may seem contrary to what you are believing for, but the Word of God remains eternal, reliable, and unshakable. Jesus compared the person who hears and obeys His Word to a wise builder whose house remained standing despite the rain, floods, and winds that came against it. Therefore, find the written Word that addresses your situation, meditate on it continually, confess it in faith, and pray with it until its truth becomes evident in your life (Joshua 1:8; Hebrews 4:12).

God’s Word is not empty information; it carries divine power, direction, healing, preservation, and deliverance (Matthew 7:24–27; Psalm 119:105). His Word must therefore be guarded within the heart, because it is a source of life and sustenance (Proverbs 4:20–23). Just as Elijah received a specific word directing him to the place where God had commanded provision, the personal word God brings to you can become the channel of your healing, breakthrough, deliverance, and preservation. Hold firmly to that Word, obey its instructions, and refuse to abandon it because of temporary circumstances. Psalm 107:20; 1 Kings 17:8–9.

Prophetic Word: I declare that you will not be moved by the storms surrounding you. The Word of God in your heart and mouth will sustain you, strengthen you, and establish you. Every situation that appears contrary to God’s promise will submit to the authority of His Word. You will receive divine direction, healing, provision, deliverance, and breakthrough. In Jesus name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You because Your Word is eternal, powerful, and dependable. Help me to remain firmly established in Your promises, regardless of what I see or experience. Open my understanding and lead me to the Scriptures that speak directly to my situation. Give me grace to meditate on Your Word, confess it boldly, pray it faithfully, and obey its instructions. I declare that I will not be shaken, because my life is built upon Your unchanging Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

No more delay!

“But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.”  Galatians 4:4 KJV

What appears to be a delay may actually be a season of divine preparation. God works according to appointed times, and His promises are fulfilled when the right people, circumstances, and opportunities are aligned. Jesus Christ came into the world at the “fulness of the time,” not a moment too early or too late. Therefore, do not allow waiting to produce discouragement in you. Instead, use the season to develop your spiritual strength, knowledge, character, and mental capacity. John the Baptist “grew, and waxed strong in spirit” while waiting for the day of his public manifestation (Luke 1:80).

Joseph’s experience also demonstrates that divine timing is never accidental. Although the chief cupbearer initially forgot Joseph, his apparent delay preserved him for the exact moment when Pharaoh had a troubling dream that no one could interpret. When the appointed time arrived, Joseph was remembered, brought out of prison, and elevated from confinement to leadership in a single day (Genesis 40:23; 41:1–41). The waiting period had prepared Joseph to manage the responsibility attached to his promotion. What you call a delay may be God developing your capacity and arranging the circumstances necessary for your next level.

Prophetic Word: Every prolonged season of waiting is coming to an end. The God who remembered Joseph will cause the right people to remember you. Doors that have remained closed will open, delayed opportunities will be released, and circumstances will align in your favour. You will not miss your season of manifestation. Your preparation will meet divine opportunity, and God will move you from waiting into fulfilment, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, I thank You because Your timing is perfect. Give me the grace to remain faithful, productive, and spiritually strong while I wait for the fulfilment of Your promises. Help me to develop the wisdom, character, knowledge, and capacity required for the opportunities ahead of me. Remove every ungodly delay, cause the right people to remember me, and align circumstances for my elevation. Let my appointed time come, and let every promise concerning my life be fulfilled. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

When you look up to God….

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”  Psalms 121:1-2 KJV

When you look up to God, you are looking in the right direction. Human strength, resources, and connections may fail, but God remains the unfailing source of help. Looking up to Him means turning away from fear, anxiety, and discouragement and placing your confidence in the One who created heaven and earth. Those who look to Him are enlightened, and their faces are not covered with shame (Psalm 34:5).

However, as you look up, do not murmur or complain. Approach God with thanksgiving, speak to Him confidently as your loving Father, and expect His divine intervention. Before Jesus multiplied the five loaves and two fish, He looked up to heaven, gave thanks, blessed the food, and distributed it to the people (Luke 9:16). What appeared insufficient became more than enough in His hands. As you look up to God in faith and gratitude this week, He will step into your situation and reveal His power.

Prophetic Word: As you look up to God this week, heaven will respond to you. The Lord will send help from unexpected places, turn insufficiency into abundance, and replace your shame with joy. Every situation that has resisted human effort will receive divine intervention. You will not be disappointed, because the God to whom you look will show up for you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I lift my eyes to You, the Maker of heaven and earth and the unfailing source of my help. Deliver me from fear, murmuring, and discouragement. Fill my heart with gratitude and strengthen my faith to trust You completely. As I look to You this week, intervene in every situation that concerns me. Turn my lack into abundance, my confusion into direction, and my difficulties into testimonies. Let Your presence go before me, and may I never be put to shame. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

You are not alone!

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”  Isaiah 41:10 NKJV

The awareness of God’s presence gives us the strength to overcome fear, anxiety, worry and discouragement. God does not merely watch from a distance; He promises to strengthen, help and uphold His people. Every believer in Christ can therefore face difficult circumstances with confidence, knowing that Jesus is always present (Matthew 28:20). Your situation is not hopeless because you are not facing it alone. Even when you pass through deep waters, overwhelming rivers or intense fire, God has promised to remain with you and preserve you (Isaiah 43:2).

Peter walked on water while his attention remained on Jesus, but he began to sink when fear replaced his consciousness of Christ’s presence. The moment he cried, “Lord, save me,” Jesus immediately reached out and caught him (Matthew 14:30–32). Peter then walked on the same water that had threatened to swallow him because the hand of Jesus was holding him. In the same way, you can rise above circumstances that appear impossible when you remember that Christ is with you. The One helping you cannot fail; therefore, celebrate your victory even while the battle is still raging.

Prophetic Word: You will not sink under the pressures of life. The hand of the Lord will uphold you, strengthen you, and bring you safely through every storm. You shall enter the boat, and every contrary wind troubling your life shall cease. Your present battle will end in praise, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for assuring me that I am never alone. Help me to remain conscious of Your presence in every circumstance. Deliver me from fear, worry and anxiety, and strengthen my faith to trust You completely. Hold my hand when I feel weak, lift me above every storm and silence every contrary wind in my life. Let every challenge I am facing end in victory and praise, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Don’t do it without faith!

“It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.” Hebrews 11:29 NLT

Faith will separate you as it separated the Israelites from the Egyptians. The Israelites crossed the Red Sea safely because they moved according to God’s word and trusted His power. The Egyptians attempted the same journey without covenant, divine instruction, or faith, and the result was destruction. Faith does not mean copying what worked for someone else; it means hearing God personally and responding obediently. What becomes an obstacle to others can become a pathway for you when God has spoken, and you move in faith.

As a child of God, faith is not optional; it is your spiritual lifeline (Romans 1:17; Hebrews 10:38). Scripture teaches that whatever is not done from faith is sin (Romans 14:23). Therefore, do not rush into decisions simply because they appear attractive, popular, or successful for others. Position yourself to hear God through prayer, Scripture, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Peter walked on water only after Jesus said, “Come” (Matthew 14:28–29). When God speaks, faith enables you to step beyond natural limitations and experience His supernatural provision.

Prophetic Word: I declare that your faith will distinguish you in this season. Where others see an impossible sea, God will reveal a pathway for you. Every obstacle standing between you and God’s promise will give way as you obey His voice. What stopped others will not stop you, because the Lord is with you.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to live by faith. Help me not to act through fear, pressure, presumption, or imitation. Position my heart to hear Your voice clearly and give me the courage to obey Your instructions. Let every step I take be guided by Your Word and empowered by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Protect what God gave you!

“It was by faith that Moses’ parents hid him for three months when he was born. They saw that God had given them an unusual child, and they were not afraid to disobey the king’s command.” Hebrews 11:23

Everything necessary for fulfilling our God-given purpose originates from Him. God gives life, identity, authority, grace, favour, direction, correction, and the power needed to fulfil destiny (Genesis 1:26–28; Genesis 2:7; John 1:4). Moses’ parents recognised that what God had entrusted to them was precious, and they refused to allow fear or opposition to destroy it. In the same way, we must recognise, value, nurture, and protect whatever God has placed in our lives. Divine gifts and opportunities must not be treated carelessly.

More importantly, when God gives you His Word, guard it diligently. Jesus teaches in the parable of the sower that the enemy comes to steal the Word that has been sown in people’s hearts (Mark 4:3–20). Therefore, do not allow fear, discouragement, distraction, doubt, or opposition to rob you of what God has spoken. Hold firmly to His promises, meditate on His Word, obey His instructions, and remain steadfast in faith. What God has placed within you carries purpose and potential.

Prophetic Word: I declare that you will not lose what God has entrusted to you. Every divine word, gift, opportunity, vision, and blessing planted in your life shall be preserved and brought to fulfilment. The enemy will not steal your seed, silence your purpose, or destroy your testimony. What God has begun in your life shall not be aborted; it shall grow, flourish, and accomplish its divine purpose, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for every blessing, gift, opportunity, and Word You have entrusted to me. Give me the wisdom to recognise what comes from You and the courage and discipline to protect it. I declare that I will not lose my divine inheritance and purpose. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

The pursuit of God 5

“And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.” Exodus 7:1

One of the greatest benefits of pursuing God is access to His wisdom, authority, and power. When a person truly seeks God and finds Him, life is no longer approached merely from human strength, fear, or limitation. God told Moses, “I have made thee a god to Pharaoh,” meaning Moses was empowered to stand before the greatest political power of his time with divine authority. This is what happens when a person walks closely with God: the impossible becomes possible, intimidation loses its power, and ordinary people begin to function with extraordinary grace. Scripture says, “The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits” (Daniel 11:32). Jesus also reminded the people that the Word of God can elevate men into divine representation on earth (John 10:35).

The pursuit of God will cost you time, discipline, comfort, and sometimes separation from distractions, but it is always worth it. I remember during my youth service in Nigeria, I became friends with many people in the community. One of them, an undergraduate student, came to me with a mathematics problem he had struggled with for a week. When I looked at it, I told him I could give him the answer immediately without using a pen, and I did. I later taught him how to solve it. That experience reminds me of a spiritual truth: what others struggle with can become simple when you operate from a higher realm of insight. When you dedicate uninterrupted hours to seeking God, He can release wisdom, direction, and dominion that will bring a total turnaround in your life.

Prophetic Word: As you pursue God sincerely, receive divine wisdom, uncommon understanding, and supernatural authority. What has been difficult for others shall become easy for you. You will not live as a victim of circumstances; you will walk in dominion, clarity, and victory. Your season of total turnaround has begun in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, give me the grace to seek You with all my heart. Deliver me from distractions and shallow devotion. Open my eyes to Your wisdom, power, and authority. As I pursue You, let my life experience a total turnaround. Make difficult things easy for me, and cause me to walk in divine dominion. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

The pursuit of God 4

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

The call to seek first the kingdom of God is a call to reorder our desires, priorities, and pursuits. When the reality of this scripture is not revealed to a person, such a person may live merely by human effort, chasing needs. Jesus teaches that when our hearts are fixed on God, His kingdom, and His righteousness, every necessary thing will be added. Therefore, whatever the need may be, the believer is not called to pursue things first, but to pursue God and His Word.

The world constantly presents many distractions, but the believer must not be carried away by them. What we truly need is a word from the Lord, because one divine word can settle what years of human struggle cannot resolve. Mary understood this when she sat at the feet of Jesus to hear His word, while Martha was distracted by many activities. Jesus declared that Mary had chosen “that good part” which would not be taken away from her (Luke 10:39–42). When we pursue God sincerely, we position ourselves to hear Him, receive direction, and walk in the provision that follows obedience.

Prophetic Word: As you seek the Lord above every need, desire, and distraction, may the Lord release a fresh word that will bring clarity, provision, peace, and divine settlement into your life. What others are struggling to chase shall be added to you by the mercy and favour of God.

Prayer: Father, give me the grace to seek You first above all things. Deliver me from distractions and misplaced priorities. Open my ears to hear Your word, and let Your word guide my steps, strengthen my faith, and release every blessing ordained for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The pursuit of God 3

“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7

God is not far from you. He is near, and by His indwelling Holy Spirit, He lives in you. Therefore, do not neglect the God who is so close and so willing to fellowship with you. Prioritise daily conversation with Him, because He desires to speak, guide, correct, strengthen, and comfort you. Nothing should be allowed to keep you away from pursuing God; not even sin. Like the prodigal son, arise, repent, and return to the Father, for He is merciful and ready to receive you again (Luke 15:18; Isaiah 55:7). Fellowship with God must not be occasional; it must become a daily experience.

Do not become too busy for God. When a person puts activities, ambitions, worries, and personal plans before fellowship with God, it is like putting the cart before the horse; it cannot move. Seek the Lord early, before the challenges and uncertainties of life overtake you (Ecclesiastes 12:1). Learn from our Lord Jesus Christ, who rose early to pray and also spent extended time in communion with the Father (Mark 1:35; Luke 6:12). Because He lived in constant dependence on the Father, He could boldly say, “I can of mine own self do nothing” (John 5:30). Stop doing life on your own strength. Pursue God, depend on Him, and you will experience supernatural wisdom, divine direction, and God-given results in every area of your life.

Prophetic Word: As you return fully to the pursuit of God, every veil of confusion is lifted from your path. The Lord will guide you with clarity, restore your fellowship, strengthen your spirit, and cause divine results to manifest where human effort has failed. You will not miss God’s timing, direction, or mercy in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, I return my heart fully to You. Help me not to neglect Your presence or become too busy for fellowship with You. Forgive me for every way I have tried to do life in my own strength. Draw me closer by Your Spirit, teach me to hear Your voice, and guide me daily in Your will. From today, let my pursuit of You produce divine direction, supernatural wisdom, and fruitful results in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The pursuit of God 2

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

The pursuit of God is not optional for anyone who truly desires to walk with Him. When you believe that someone has the power to help you, you naturally seek that person’s attention, spend time with them, and make room for their counsel. In the same way, anyone who truly believes in God must seek Him with sincerity, faith, and diligence. A person cannot claim to be a Christian and yet remain a stranger to God. Christianity is a life of surrender, fellowship, obedience, and daily communion with the Father through His Son and the Holy Spirit. Where your hunger and thirst are, there your pursuit will be also (Matthew 5:6).

God rewards those who diligently pursue Him, and one of the greatest rewards He gives is the gift of Himself. When a person walks closely with God, their life is no longer lived by ordinary understanding alone; divine wisdom, direction, and favour begin to guide their steps (Galatians 2:20). God reveals His secrets to those who seek Him, surrounds them with His counsel, and causes goodness to flow into their lives (Job 29:4; Job 22:21). To pursue God is to pursue life, peace, direction, and divine intimacy.

Prophetic Word: I declare that you will pursue God intentionally. Your heart is restored to daily fellowship, and Christ is fully formed in you. As you draw near to the Lord, He will receive you, guide you, strengthen you, and reveal Himself more deeply to you. I decree that God has taken over your battles in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, help me to remember You in every season of my life. Deliver me from spiritual coldness, distractions, and every habit that keeps me far from You. Teach me to pursue You sincerely and to give You my time, my heart, and my obedience. Let Christ live through me daily, and let my life reflect Your will, Your presence, and Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The pursuit of God 1

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

In a word of uncertainty, covered with darkness, only those who have encountered God can be bold and do exploits (Daniel 11:32). Any man can fail you, but God will not. The pursuit of God precedes the encounter with God. The pursuit of God begins with an undivided heart. God is found by those who seek Him sincerely, deeply, and wholeheartedly. If you have alternatives, you cannot find God. A divided heart cannot sustain a divine encounter. The psalmist declares, “My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord” (Psalm 84:2). This is a deep hunger of the soul for God’s presence. God is found by those who will not take no for an answer (Genesis 32:24).

When a person genuinely seeks God, God reveals Himself. He speaks, guides, strengthens, and fills the seeker with His Holy Spirit. Like the deer that pants after the water brooks, the soul that thirsts for God will never remain empty (Psalm 42:1–2). To find God is to find direction, life, strength, and destiny. His voice and His Spirit are the greatest necessities for a fulfilled life. The Bible reveals that if you find Jesus, you have found God (John 14:8-10; John 1:14, Hebrews 1:2-3).

Prophetic Word: As you seek the Lord with all your heart, you will find Him. The Lord will speak clearly to you, fill you afresh with His Spirit, and guide you into the fullness of your destiny.

Prayer: Father, give me an undivided heart that seeks You sincerely. Create in me a deep hunger for Your presence. Speak to me, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and guide me into Your purpose for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Who clothed you?

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.” Zechariah 3:3-4

There is a spiritual garment on which is determined by who clothed you. Joshua stood before the angel clothed in filthy garments, and those garments became a visible representation of accusation, reproach and limitation. But when God intervened, the filthy garments were removed, and Joshua was clothed with a change of raiment. When God clothes a person, shame is removed, resistance is broken, and divine acceptance is established. God clothes His own with favour, righteousness and power (Psalm 5:12; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 1:9).

How you are clothed determines how you are addressed. If a life is constantly resisted, molested, delayed or dishonoured, it is important to examine the garment operating upon that life. Joshua could not remove the filthy garment by himself; he needed divine help. But in Christ, we have been given authority to resist the enemy, and he must flee. We have power over the works of darkness, and our obedience positions us to pull down every opposition raised against the knowledge and purpose of God (James 4:7; 2 Corinthians 10:6; Luke 10:19). When you walk in the wisdom of God, strength and honour become your clothing, and your words carry dignity, grace and authority (Proverbs 31:25–26).

Prophetic Word: Today, every filthy garment of shame, delay, reproach, rejection and resistance is removed from your life. The Lord clothes you with favour, righteousness, honour, wisdom and power. From this day forward, you shall not be addressed by your past, your battles or your mistakes. You shall be recognised by the garment of God upon your life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I reject every garment placed upon me by the enemy, by error, by fear or by negative words. Lord, let my life reflect Your glory, let my destiny receive divine acceptance, and let every power resisting my progress flee before me. From today, I walk in the garment of wisdom, strength and honour. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Your head must be oiled!

“Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.” Ecclesiastes 9:8 KJV.

Your head is the symbol of your destiny, authority, honour, direction, and spiritual covering. When the head lacks oil, life becomes dry, difficult, and vulnerable to unnecessary struggles. But when the head is anointed, favour speaks, joy flows, power is released; destiny receives divine acceleration. The oil of God upon a life is the mark of divine selection, empowerment, preservation, and victory.

David was anointed and the Spirit of the Lord came upon him from that day forward (1 Samuel 16:13). Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost and power, and He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed (Acts 10:38). The oil of gladness distinguished Christ above His fellows (Hebrews 1:9), and the anointing upon David gave him divine backing against his enemies (Psalm 89:20–24). Therefore, your head must not lack fresh oil. You need the oil of favour, the oil of gladness, the oil of power, and the oil of divine enablement every day.

Prophetic Word: Today, I decree that your head will not lack oil. Fresh favour, fresh grace, fresh joy, fresh strength, and fresh power are released upon your life. Every dryness around your destiny is terminated. You will not struggle where God has ordained you to shine. The anointing of God will distinguish you, preserve you, and announce you for divine opportunities. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, let my head never lack fresh oil. Anoint me daily with the oil of favour, gladness, power, wisdom, and divine direction. Remove every dryness, struggle, delay, and limitation from my life. Let Your Spirit rest upon me, empower me, and distinguish me for Your glory. From today, I receive fresh oil for a victorious, fruitful, and indomitable life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Positive declaration

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; …. for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:45-47KJV.

David did not wait for victory before he spoke victory. He stood before Goliath, not with fear, but with faith-filled words rooted in his knowledge of God. Though David was not trained like a soldier and did not carry the weapons of war, he carried something greater: confidence in the Lord of hosts. His declaration became the atmosphere of his victory. He spoke before the challenge, he spoke in the face of the challenge, and he acted in agreement with what he declared. As he declared, so it happened.

Beloved, your declarations matter. Do not give your problems a voice; make positive declarations. In the midst of both challenges and peace, speak the Word of God boldly. Even when your heart feels afraid, keep speaking faith until confidence rises within you. You are not a voice for your problems; you are a voice for God’s solution. Your word, aligned with God’s Word, is a weapon of defence and a channel of divine order in your world.

Prophetic Word: Today, I declare that every Goliath standing before you shall fall in the name of Jesus. The Lord will put words of victory in your mouth, courage in your heart, strength in your hands, and testimony in your life. Every storm confronting you shall hear the voice of peace. Every opposition shall bow to the authority of God. Walk in victory in this second half of 2026 in Jesus' name.

Prayer: Father, let every storm in my life hear the command of peace and be still. I decree victory, peace, favour, healing, progress, and testimony over my life and family. I shall make remarkable progress in life this July. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
