Seek God like a child!

“But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14KJV

When you feel weak, vulnerable, or uncertain, do not hesitate to approach God with the simplicity and confidence of a child (Romans 8:15). A child naturally looks to a loving parent for protection, provision, comfort, and direction. In the same way, God invites you to depend completely on Him. You do not need to understand everything before coming to Him. Bring your fears, questions, needs, and weaknesses to your heavenly Father, trusting that He hears you and cares for you.

God never ignores the cry of His children. When Ishmael cried in the wilderness, God heard him, opened Hagar’s eyes to His provision, and preserved the boy’s life (Genesis 21:17–21). Your weakness does not disqualify you from receiving divine attention; rather, it creates an opportunity for God’s strength to be revealed (Matthew 19:14). Even when you face powerful enemies or intimidating circumstances, God can establish strength through what appears weak and silence every adversary (Psalm 8:2; Matthew 21:16). Therefore, seek Him with childlike faith, without pride, pretence, or anxiety, and trust that your Father will defend, guide, provide for, and sustain you.

Prophetic Word: I declare that as you approach God with childlike faith, every burden of fear, anxiety, and self-reliance is lifted from your life. The Lord will hear your cry, open your eyes to hidden provisions, and make a way for you where there appears to be no way. Every strong enemy confronting you shall be subdued, and God will demonstrate His strength through your weakness, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for receiving me as Your child. Help me to come before You with humility, simplicity, and complete trust. Deliver me from fear and anxiety. When I feel weak and vulnerable, remind me that You are my loving Father and that You hear my cry. Let Your strength be revealed through my weakness and guide me continually by Your Spirit.
