You will find favour!

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52KJV

Life is stressful and difficult without favour. Favour with God and men is needed to live a productive and successful life. You are not created to struggle alone; you must enjoy help from your creator and other creatures. Joseph found favour in Potiphar’s house, even in a foreign land, because God was with him (Genesis 39:4). Esther’s life changed when she received favour in the sight of the king, leading to the deliverance of her people (Esther 2:17). God’s favour attracts help, kindness, and open doors from both God and people. When a man’s ways please the Lord, even his enemies are compelled to be at peace with him (Proverbs 16:7).

God’s word assures us that He will bless the righteous and surround them with favour as with a shield (Psalms 5:12). Divine favour was what lifted Ruth from gleaning in the fields to becoming part of the lineage of Christ (Ruth 2:10). It was the favour of God that preserved Daniel and gave him excellence and promotion in Babylon (Daniel 1:9, Daniel 6:3). As believers, we are encouraged to come boldly before God’s throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace (favour) to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Like the Shunammite woman, discern those God has sent your way and be open to their blessings (2 Kings 4:9-10; John 4:10). May the Lord anoint your head with favour, surround you with helpers, and grant you supernatural opportunities in Jesus’ name.

Prophetic word: I declare over your life today: You are stepping into a new season of unprecedented favour! Where doors were previously shut, the Lord will open them by His mighty hand. You will attract helpers of destiny and receive unexpected kindness from both familiar and unfamiliar places, just as Joseph found favour in every circumstance. The Lord will distinguish you, and His favour will cause you to stand out like Daniel among the wise. Every plan of the enemy to bring shame or stagnation is overturned, for the Lord will make even your adversaries to be at peace with you. From today, may the evidence of God’s favour be visible in your work, your family, and every area of your life. Your testimony shall be, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your promise of favour over my life. Just as You surrounded Jesus, Joseph, Esther, Ruth, and Daniel with favour, I ask that You surround me and my loved ones today. Let Your favour open doors that no man can shut, bring helpers to my side, and cause me to prosper in all my ways. Anoint my head with fresh oil and make me sensitive to the people You have sent to bless me. May Your favour shield me from every plan of the enemy and grant me peace with those around me. I come boldly to Your throne of grace to receive mercy and find favour in every need. Thank You, Lord, for making me a testimony of Your goodness. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.
