“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24KJV
One of the profound implications of the cross is that healing was made available to us before any sickness could ever touch our bodies. The Word declares in 1 Peter 2:24 that “by His stripes, ye were healed,” echoing the prophecy in Isaiah 53:5, which says, “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities… and with His stripes we are healed.” This means that healing is a finished work; If you were healed, you are healed. Just as Jesus bore our sins, He also bore our sicknesses (Matthew 8:17)—this is the truth we must walk in. When the ten lepers cried out to Him, He healed them (Luke 17:12-19), and the woman with the issue of blood received her healing by faith (Mark 5:25-34). Healings are our inheritance in Christ (Luke 13:16).
Therefore, we must live with the consciousness that we have already been healed. Sickness has no legal right to reside in your body because Jesus paid the full price with His own blood and the beatings He received. The same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you (Romans 8:11), bringing life and health to every part of your body. Like the cripple at the Beautiful Gate who received strength in his legs and leapt up when Peter declared healing in the name of Jesus (Acts 3:6–8), you too can rise from affliction by declaring, “I am healed in Jesus’ name!” Insist on your covenant right to healing, rebuke sickness with authority, and walk in the divine health Christ has provided.
Prophetic word: Thus says the Lord: "I have not only carried your sins, but I have borne your griefs and your diseases. My body was broken so that yours may be whole. As My blood was shed, a covenant of healing was sealed over your life. Do not say, 'I am still sick,' for I have declared you healed. Do not agree with the report of man when My Word has already spoken. Rise, My child, and walk in the health I purchased for you. Speak to the affliction and command it to go. This is the season where you shall testify of My healing power. I am restoring health to your bones, strength to your limbs, and clarity to your mind. You shall live and not die, and you shall declare the works of the Lord. I have gone before you, and My Spirit shall quicken every dead thing in your body. You are healed, and it is so." (Isaiah 53:5, Jeremiah 30:17, Psalm 118:17, Romans 8:11).
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Thank You that by His stripes, I am healed. I stand on Your Word, Lord, and I declare that sickness has no place in my body. I reject every lying symptom and declare Your truth over my life. Your Word says You are the Lord who heals me (Exodus 15:26), and I claim that covenant promise now. I plead the blood of Jesus over every cell, tissue, and organ in my body. Lord, quicken my mortal body by Your Spirit. Let healing flow from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I cancel every report of the enemy and align myself with Your divine report: I am healed, I am whole, and I am restored. In the name of Jesus, I arise from every sickbed, every limitation, and every diagnosis. I walk in divine health, and I testify of Your miracle-working power. Thank You, Lord, for healing me and for using my life as a testimony to Your glory. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
