“Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:” Exodus 6:6 KJV
God is committed to His word. He did exactly what He said He would do for Israel (Psalms 44:3). He brought Israel out of Egypt, not by their strength, but by His stretched-out arm and great judgments. Just as He opened the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21-22), caused Pharaoh’s army to be drowned (Exodus 14:27-28), and fed His people with manna in the wilderness (Exodus 16:4), God is faithful to bring His people out of any oppression, bondage, or wilderness season. When Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den, God brought him out untouched (Daniel 6:22). When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were cast into the fiery furnace, the Lord was with them and brought them out without even the smell of smoke on them (Daniel 3:27). These are proof of God’s unchanging nature.
In the New Testament, God’s promise of deliverance is even more personal through Christ. He has “delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son” (Colossians 1:13). Through the blood of Jesus, we have redemption and the assurance of deliverance from every bondage (Colossians 1:14). As believers, our posture must align with His promise: if He said, “I will bring you out,” then we must respond in faith—“I am coming out!” Don’t camp in the wilderness when Canaan is your destination. Speak your freedom like Paul and Silas did in prison (Acts 16:25-26; 2 Cor 4:13); praise God in the dark and expect a shaking. The God who brought Israel out, who raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11:43-44), and who rolled away the stone from Jesus’ tomb (Luke 24:2) is still bringing His people out today. Stand in faith—your exodus is assured!
Prophetic word: Thus says the Lord: I have seen your affliction, I have heard your cry, and I am moving on your behalf. I will bring you out with a mighty hand and a stretched-out arm. The season of delay is over. Chains are breaking, doors are opening, and your Red Sea is parting. Just as I brought Joseph from the prison to the palace, so I am lifting you into your appointed place. What held you down will hold you no more. The burden is being lifted, and the yoke is being destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27). I am the Lord your Deliverer, and I will not fail you. Walk forward in faith—for I, the Lord, am bringing you out into freedom, favor, and fulfillment. You will testify!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being the God who brings out and brings through. I stand on Your promise in Exodus 6:6 and declare that I am coming out of every bondage, every limitation, every delay, and every oppression. Thank You for redeeming me by the blood of Jesus and transferring me into the kingdom of light (Colossians 1:13-14). Lord, just as You delivered Israel, Daniel, and the three Hebrew boys, deliver me and my household from every trial and threat. Stretch out Your mighty arm, shake what must be shaken, and let every Red Sea in my path part. I declare my exodus—into purpose, into favor, into divine destiny. In Jesus’ name, amen!
