God of all seasons!

“And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the Lord, Because the Syrians have said, The Lord is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.” 1 Kings 20:28

Our God is not limited by geography, circumstance, or season—He is the Sovereign Lord over every terrain of life. In 1 Kings 20:28, the Lord declared victory for Israel because the enemy had underestimated Him, thinking He was only the God of the hills and not of the valleys. But God proved that He reigns supreme in both high and low places. Whether you are on the mountaintop of success like Moses on Sinai receiving revelation (Exodus 19), or in the valley of despair like David fleeing from Saul (Psalm 23:4), God remains ever-present, powerful, and faithful. Just as He was with Joseph in the prison and in the palace (Genesis 39), so will He be with you in every season.

There is no season beyond His reach—He sends rain in drought (1 Kings 18:41-45), brings peace in storms (Mark 4:39), and provides strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). When you're walking through fire like the three Hebrew boys in Babylon (Daniel 3), He will walk with you. When you're in a wilderness like Hagar, He sees and provides (Genesis 16:13-14). Trust in Him through every chapter of your journey—whether joyful or painful, clear or confusing. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)—the God of all seasons.

Prophetic word: Thus says the Lord: “I am the Lord of your mountaintop victories and the God who walks with you in the deepest valleys. I do not change with your seasons, for I am eternal and unshaken. Even when you cannot trace My hand, you will see My fingerprints. I am surrounding you, sustaining you, and leading you into a greater testimony. Do not fear the valley, for I am building strength, character, and faith within you. And do not idolize the mountaintop, for I am the Source of your elevation. I will cause even what the enemy meant for evil to work for your good (Genesis 50:20). Watch, for I will show Myself mighty in your low place and cause you to rise with new power and purpose.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You because You are the God of every season—the One who never leaves nor forsakes me, whether I stand on the heights of breakthrough or walk through the shadows of uncertainty. Just as You delivered Israel when the enemy doubted Your presence in the valley, deliver me from every battle that seeks to diminish Your glory in my life. Help me to trust You in the dry places, praise You in the waiting, and honor You in abundance. Lord, open my eyes to see Your hand even in hardship. Like David, let me say with confidence, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me” (Psalm 23:4). Let my life become a living testimony that You are the God of all seasons—faithful, present, and victorious. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
