Sonship advantage

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:” Romans 8:14-16

Sonship in the kingdom is not gender-based; a believing woman is a “son of God,” (John 1:12). Sonship in the Kingdom of God grants believers unique access, authority, and intimacy with the Father. Through Christ, we have not only been saved from sin but adopted into God’s family with full rights as heirs. Romans 8:14-16 reveals this truth powerfully — we are not in bondage but enjoy the freedom and witness of the Spirit confirming our identity. Jesus Himself, the Firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:29), exemplified Sonship through obedience, dependence on the Spirit, and unwavering confidence in the Father’s provision and purpose. Just like Jesus called God “Abba, Father” in Gethsemane (Mark 14:36), we, too, can cry out with trust, knowing we are heard, loved, and defended.

The advantage of Sonship includes divine guidance, access to inheritance, protection, and supernatural manifestation. Galatians 4:6-7 emphasizes that because we are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, enabling us to live free and bold. Even creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). In Exodus 4:22-23, God referred to Israel as His firstborn son and fiercely defended them from Pharaoh. That same jealous love still speaks today. As a son, you are not ordinary — you carry God’s name, His Spirit, and His promises. Every challenge is only a platform for God’s glory to be revealed through you. Stand tall in your sonship!

Prophetic word: Beloved, hear the word of the Lord, "You are My son - My own, in whom I am well pleased. I have placed My Spirit within you to lead, to guide, and to empower you. No longer shall you walk in fear or confusion, for the light of My Spirit is your path. The chains of limitation are broken; the labels of rejection are erased. You will walk in the authority of your sonship. Where others are denied, you will be accepted. Where others fall, you will rise. For I am releasing to you the inheritance of My presence, the treasures of wisdom, and doors no man can shut. Be bold, My child. Manifest My glory in the earth. You are not a slave — you are My heir, and I am your Father."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Abba, thank You for the gift of sonship through Jesus Christ. Thank You that I am not a stranger but a child of covenant. I receive the Spirit of adoption afresh — let it silence every voice of fear and affirm Your love in my heart. Lead me by Your Spirit into all truth, all victory, and all purpose. Let my life reflect Your glory. I declare that I am an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. Every spiritual blessing You’ve ordained for me, I walk into it by faith. I break agreement with the spirit of bondage and step fully into the liberty and authority of sonship. Let Your power be seen in me. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
