Connect to God’s power!

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20 KJV

Our thinking is as important as our asking, but it is even more crucial that we allow His power to work within us. Throughout Scripture, we see that life's battles are not won merely by human reasoning or effort, but by divine empowerment. Daniel received answers through prayer and understanding (Daniel 9:22–23), while Joseph’s wisdom and trust in God elevated him from prison to palace (Genesis 41:38–40). There are two ways to navigate life’s challenges: praying through or thinking through. Any discipline that strengthens correct prayer and sound thinking builds your capacity for victory. Yet, true breakthroughs come when you connect to God's power through faith (Mark 5:28,36). Faith brings divine intervention beyond our abilities.

Maintaining a strong connection to God's power requires continual fellowship with Him. The early apostles, though unlearned men, exhibited extraordinary boldness because they had been with Jesus (Acts 4:13). Jesus emphasized this abiding relationship (John 15:7). Job also discovered that acquainting oneself with God brings peace and good things (Job 22:21). Staying connected through prayer, meditation on the Word, worship, and obedience ensures that His life-giving power flows through us consistently. In doing so, we experience not just solutions to problems but a life of overflow and victory, far beyond what we could ask or imagine.

Prophetic word: “My power is at work within you even now. I am stretching your capacity beyond what you can see, what you can ask, and what you can imagine. As you draw near to Me, I will unlock hidden wisdom and release answers that transcend your understanding. Do not be afraid of the battles before you, for I have already given you the victory through faith. I am your ever-present help, and My Spirit within you will quicken your mind, strengthen your heart, and guide your steps. Trust not in your own strength or reasoning alone, but abide in Me, and you shall bear much fruit. I am causing you to think higher, pray deeper, and live stronger by My Spirit. Walk boldly, for I have empowered you to overcome, to build, and to prevail.”  

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your exceeding and abundant power that works within me. I choose today to align my thoughts, my prayers, and my life with Your Spirit. Strengthen my faith to believe beyond what I can see, and help me to stay connected to Your limitless power. As I abide in You, cause me to grow in wisdom, strength, and boldness like the apostles of old. I renounce every fear, doubt, and unbelief, and I receive the fullness of Your grace to think, to pray, and to live victoriously. Lord, stretch my capacity to dream Your dreams, to pray Your prayers, and to walk in Your purposes. Let my life be a living testimony of Your abundant power at work. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
