Light will separate you!

“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;” Daniel 5:11

The light you receive from God will separate you. As seen in our text, Daniel was promoted because of the light—“light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods”—that was found in him. This same light distinguished Joseph in Egypt (Genesis 41:38-39), causing Pharaoh to acknowledge, “Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the spirit of God is?” When God's light enters a man, it sets him apart for divine assignment and authority. You become unignorable. David was chosen above his brothers because God saw the heart and placed His light upon him (1 Samuel 16:12-13). That same light will elevate you above limitation and opposition.

This light will take you out of obscurity (Isaiah 60:1). This light will make you stronger than your adversary (Luke 21:15, Genesis 26). Isaiah 60:1 declares, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” When light comes, darkness flees. Jesus told us in Matthew 5:14, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” The light of God on your life will make you visible, influential, and unshakable. In Luke 21:15, He promises, “I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.” Isaac prospered in a hostile land because of divine light and instruction (Genesis 26:12-14). You too will be separated by light, empowered by wisdom, and preserved by divine understanding. Receive this light, and let it make you a god over life’s storms.

Prophetic word: "I am releasing a light that will mark you for distinction. Where others have been overlooked, you will be sought out. Where confusion once clouded your path, clarity is coming by My Spirit. As Daniel was set apart by the light of My wisdom, so will I cause you to rise above your peers with solutions from above. I am making you a sign and a wonder, and you will carry light that exposes the works of darkness. You will speak, and your words will carry weight. You will walk into rooms and shift atmospheres. My light in you will cause kings to seek your counsel and nations to respond to your rising. Be not afraid of the opposition, for My light makes you untouchable. Shine forth—for your season of separation has come." Saith the Lord.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the light that separates and elevates. I open my heart to receive Your divine light—light that brings wisdom, understanding, and revelation. Let this light set me apart like Daniel in Babylon and Joseph in Egypt. Let it make me a solution carrier, a voice in the midst of confusion, and a vessel of Your glory. I declare that I arise and shine, for my light has come, and Your glory is risen upon me. Lord, fill me with insight beyond my years and position me for divine assignments. Make me a god over challenges, and cause me to walk in boldness, power, and purpose. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
