“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and,
behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”
Revelation 1:18
Jesus Christ, the Risen Lord, boldly declared in Revelation 1:18, “I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Over two thousand years ago, He descended into the depths of hell, conquered death, and took the keys from the enemy. This victory was not for Himself alone but for all who are under the new covenant sealed by His blood. If you are in Christ, then the enemy has no authority to take your life—you shall not die. The blood speaks for you (Hebrews 12:24). The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now dwells in you and gives life to your mortal body (Romans 8:11). Death—whether in the form of sickness, tragedy, or hopelessness—has lost its sting (1 Corinthians 15:55).
Even before Jesus physically came, David caught this revelation and declared in faith, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord” (Psalm 118:17). The prophet Hosea echoed God’s vengeance against death in Hosea 13:14: “I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues.” God promises to destroy whatever threatens your life. Therefore, I prophesy over you today: you shall not die—physically, spiritually, financially, emotionally, or relationally. That which concerns you will not perish. The life of Christ preserves you. Receive it, believe it, and walk in it, in Jesus’ mighty name.
Prophetic word: Thus says the Lord: “I have redeemed you by My blood and sealed you with My Spirit. I have delivered you from the power of death and the grave. No weapon formed against your life shall prosper. Every agenda of premature death, every affliction fashioned against your destiny, is overturned by My resurrection power. I have given My angels charge over you. You will not die before your time. You will live and fulfill My purpose. Your body will respond to life. Your mind will align with peace. Your spirit will overflow with joy. What looked like the end is only a new beginning. My breath is upon you, and My word shall not fail concerning your life. Arise and shine—you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the victory of the cross and the power of the resurrection. I declare according to Your word that I shall not die but live to declare Your works. Every covenant of premature death is broken by the blood of Jesus. Every spirit of fear, sickness, tragedy, or hopelessness is rebuked in the name of Jesus. Lord, let the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead quicken my mortal body. Let every area of dryness receive life—my health, finances, relationships, purpose, and destiny. I decree divine restoration, preservation, and protection. I hide under the shadow of the Almighty and decree that no evil shall befall me. I align with Your word in Psalm 91:16, “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Thank You, Father, that death is swallowed up in victory. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen!
