“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” — Proverbs 4:23
“…for the joy of the
Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10
As a child of God, your future is glorious. However, to fully walk in that glory, there are two things you must keep with utmost diligence: your heart and your joy.
Your heart is the seat of your life, the control room of your thoughts, emotions, and faith. It determines the direction of your destiny. On one side, it can produce unbelief and fear; on the other side, faith and victory. The difference lies in the seed sown into it. Whatever gains access to your heart has entered your life. Therefore, guard your heart from negativity, doubt, and fear. Refuse to let the enemy sow seeds of unbelief. Choose carefully what you see, hear, and meditate on, for they are the gates to your heart and ultimately to your future. Remember, the just shall live by faith.
Equally important is keeping your joy, because the joy of the Lord is your strength. Joy is the fuel that propels you forward into victory. The devil knows that if he can steal your joy, he can weaken your strength. That’s why he constantly reminds you of what is wrong in your life. But you must make the deliberate choice to focus on what is right, on what God has done, and on His promises that never fail. When you keep your joy alive, strength flows into your spirit, enabling you to overcome every challenge. Whatever is wrong in your life cannot last if your joy remains intact, for the joy of the Lord empowers you to outlast and outshine every adversity.
Prophetic Word: I prophesy that your heart will be filled with faith and your life with unshakable joy. No storm will overwhelm you, and no challenge will steal your strength. You will rise above obstacles and walk boldly into your glorious future, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen
Prayer: Lord, help me to guard my heart with diligence and keep my joy unbroken.
I declare that my faith is strong, my joy is full, and my victory is sure. I
will run through a troop and leap over a wall, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
