He comes!

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12 KJV

From the unfolding of Biblical prophecy and the visible signs of our times, it is clear that the coming of the Lord is nearer than ever. His return will be sudden and unexpected, “like a thief in the night” (Revelation 16:15). Therefore, we must live in readiness and spiritual alertness.

Let me share four Biblical instructions for every believer preparing for His coming: (1) Watch and Pray (Matthew 26:41). Stay spiritually awake. Prayer keeps your heart tuned to heaven’s frequency. (2) Examine Yourself Daily (2 Corinthians 13:5). Take stock of your spiritual life. Align your heart with God’s will and purpose. (3) Keep Extra Oil (Matthew 25:1–13; Ecclesiastes 9:8). Maintain your spiritual fire. Be filled continually with the Holy Spirit and power. (4) Occupy Till He Comes (Luke 19:13). Be diligent in your divine assignment. Work faithfully, win souls, and live purposefully.

If a householder knew when a thief would come, he would have kept watch and guarded his house (Matthew 24:43). Likewise, we must be prepared at all times, for His coming is imminent.
