More of You, Lord!

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30

“For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.” Acts 17:28

As a believer, your greatest pursuit in life should be to have more of God and less of self. The more of God you carry, the more His presence, wisdom, and power are revealed in and through you. You are His vessel, His instrument, His oracle, His mouthpiece, and His representative on earth. You are light to the world and salt to the earth. The quality of your life and the impact you have depend on how much of Him is expressed in you.

Your life is not your own; you belong to God. Every thought, word, and action should point others to Him. The more you yield, the more He fills you. When God increases in your life, your fears decrease, your weaknesses fade, and your destiny unfolds in glory. Allow His Spirit to lead you, shape your desires, and purify your motives. As you decrease, He increases,  and when He increases, everything about your life aligns with divine purpose.

Remember, it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). This means your struggles, burdens, and battles are no longer yours to carry; they are His. The more you surrender, the lighter your load becomes. The more of Him you have, the stronger, wiser, and more victorious you become. Do not seek to be seen, seek for Christ to be revealed. Do not strive to be heard, let His voice echo through your obedience. Let your daily prayer be: “Lord, more of You and less of me.”

Prophetic Word: I declare that God will increase in every area of your life. His wisdom will guide your steps, His power will rest upon you, and His presence will overshadow every weakness. You will shine as His light and preserve the earth as His salt. The world will see Christ in you, the hope of glory, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Prayer: Oh Lord, increase in my life and let self decrease. Fill me with Your Spirit until my words, thoughts, and actions reflect You alone. I yield my heart, my will, and my desires to You. Let my life bring You glory every day. More of You, Lord, and less of me, in Jesus’ name. Amen
