“Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” Acts 28:6(KJV)
Consider the story of Paul in Acts 28:3-6; after surviving a shipwreck, Paul was bitten by a venomous viper while serving others. The people around him assumed the worst, expecting him to collapse and die. Yet, through God's power, Paul remained unharmed, defying their expectations. This miraculous preservation led those same people to change their opinions and marvel at God's power. Similarly, in Daniel 3:24-27, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into a fiery furnace, yet they walked out without even the smell of smoke on them. Their adversaries were astonished and ultimately acknowledged the greatness of their God.
Beloved, God is still in the business of turning trials into triumphs. Perhaps people are speaking negatively about your situation or waiting for your downfall. But just as Paul's outcome silenced his critics and turned their skepticism into celebration, your story will also end in victory. Remember the promise of Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” Those who doubt or oppose you will witness the hand of God in your life and will be compelled to celebrate with you. Stay strong, for the next chapter of your journey is one of undeniable triumph in Jesus’ name. Hold onto Him, and He will see you through. Victory is next for you!
Prophetic word: I declare over your life: every attack of the enemy designed to harm or destroy you will fail in the mighty name of Jesus. Like Paul, who shook off the viper and suffered no harm, you will shake off every trial, accusation, and opposition. The same God who turned Paul’s moment of trial into a testimony will cause every negative word spoken against you to be silenced. Those who have doubted, mocked, or misunderstood you will soon see the undeniable evidence of God’s favor upon your life and will join in celebrating your victory. The season of pain and trials is ending, and the season of glory and breakthrough is here. Your story is changing to one of undeniable triumph, in Jesus’ name!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I pray that You intervene in every situation I am facing. Just as You protected Paul and turned his trial into testimony, protect me and cause my enemies’ expectations to be disappointed. Lord, silence every negative word spoken against me and transform my challenges into a platform for Your glory. Fill me with strength to hold on to Your promises and trust in Your timing. Let my next step be a step into victory, celebration, and new beginnings. In Jesus' name, let every onlooker witness Your mighty hand in my life. Amen!
