“And the Children of Joseph spoke unto Joshua, saying, why has thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, for as much as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?” Joshua 17:14 KJV
Beloved, it is your responsibility to take what belongs to you. It is possible for a person to be great and blessed and yet live like an ordinary man on earth. The Children of Joseph were great and blessed people, but all they had was one lot from the Promised Land; the enemies occupied other lots that belonged to them. Thank God they discovered this paramount issue and went to Joshua. Joshua told them to fight and recover their portions from the enemy.
The daughters of Zelophehad in Numbers 27:1–7 provide another inspiring example. When they realized they had no inheritance in the land because their father had died without sons, they boldly approached Moses and the leaders, appealing for their rightful portion. God affirmed their claim, declaring their plea just and instructing Moses to grant them their inheritance. Beloved, this is your season to rise up in boldness, knowing that God is faithful to His promises. In prayer and faith, drive out any enemy occupying your spiritual, financial, or physical inheritance, for the Lord has already given it to you (Deuteronomy 1:8). Go forth, take your lot, and walk in your testimony, in Jesus' name!
Prophetic word: This is your season of divine repossession and recovery. The gates of your inheritance are open, and no enemy can withstand the power of the Lord going before you. I have blessed you and called you to greatness; therefore, arise, for I have empowered your hands to possess what is rightfully yours. Every delay is overturned, and every barrier that the enemy has placed is removed. Go forth in boldness, for you shall see My hand working wonders in your life. As you pursue, you shall overtake, and without fail, you will recover all (1 Samuel 30:8). The land, the opportunities, and the blessings I have ordained for you are yours to claim. Victory is assured in the name of Jesus!"
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your promises that are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. Lord, I declare that every portion of blessing, favor, and inheritance that You have allocated to me shall not be stolen or delayed in the name of Jesus. I rise in faith and boldness, and I take possession of what belongs to me, for You have made me more than a conqueror. Father, every enemy occupying my inheritance is defeated by the blood of Jesus, and I claim total victory in Your name. Strengthen my hands for battle and my knees for prayer, that I may pursue, overtake, and recover all that is mine. Lord, let Your favor surround me as a shield and establish me in the land You have given me. Thank You for the testimony of victory that will glorify Your name. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. Amen!
