Be strong in Spirit!

“And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.” Luke 1:80 (KJV)

No matter what you go through in life, you need to grow and be strong in spirit to come out of it. Let me quickly tell you this: have a mindset that you will always come out of any challenge in life. If you do, the enemy will not be able to steal your joy or cause you to be depressed. Focus on growth and strength in spirit, and it is a matter of time before you will be celebrated. A desert-like situation cannot overcome a man who is growing in spirit. Spiritual growth during difficult times is the key to victory and testimony that glorifies God.

To be strong in spirit, focus on God’s Word and His promises, just as Jesus did in His earthly ministry. The Bible says Jesus “grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.” (Luke 2:40). Even when He faced trials in the wilderness, His strength in spirit allowed Him to overcome Satan’s temptations through the Word of God (Matthew 4:1-11). Paul, too, encourages us: “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might” (Ephesians 6:10). No matter what challenges you face, know that your season of celebration is coming. Your situation can also turn around when you are strong in spirit, trusting God to renew, restore, and establish you.

Prophetic word: Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or discouraged, for I, the Lord your God, am with you wherever you go. This is your season of preparation, not desolation. What may seem like a wilderness is the place where I am building you, strengthening you, and equipping you for the purpose I have ordained. The challenges you face will not overcome you, for my Spirit is within you, empowering you to rise above every obstacle. Just as I raised John the Baptist, Joseph, and David, I will raise you to a position of honor and celebration. Stay steadfast, for the doors of victory are about to open, and I will make you a testimony of My power and glory. Trust in Me, for you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the strength You provide in every season of life. Lord, I pray for the grace to grow in spirit, even in desert-like situations. Strengthen my heart to trust You, my mind to focus on Your promises, and my spirit to stand firm in faith. Father, let every challenge I face refine and prepare me for Your divine purpose. Like John the Baptist and David, help me to overcome every trial and be a vessel for Your glory. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every dry bone in my life shall come to life by the power of Your Spirit. Lord, fill me with courage, peace, and unwavering faith, knowing that my season of breakthrough is near. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
