Victory mentality 3

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4 KJV

The fact that God has given you a vision, assignment, or idea does not mean that challenges will not come. A storm does not mean you missed God. Resistance does not mean God did not speak. Every vision that comes from God carries within it the power to overcome obstacles. Therefore, you must keep the mentality of victory as you pursue what God has placed in your heart. When Peter heard Jesus say, “Come,” he stepped out of the ship and walked on water (Matthew 14:29-31). He acted on the word of the Lord and experienced the supernatural. But when he saw the boisterous wind, fear entered his heart, doubt arose, and he began to sink. The storm did not stop Peter; doubt did. Beloved, as long as your faith remains fixed on the word of God, you cannot be defeated. The challenge may be real, but God’s word is greater.

Perhaps you are facing a storm in the assignment God has given you. Hear the word of the Lord: do not doubt. The storm will pass, and your victory will manifest. And if you feel as though you are already sinking, cry unto the Lord. The same Jesus who saved Peter will stretch forth His hand and uphold you. You are born of God, and whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world.

Prophetic Word: I declare that you shall not sink in the assignment God has given you. Every storm rising against your vision shall be silenced. Your faith shall not fail. You shall overcome, and your testimony shall be established. In Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen my faith and help me to keep a victory mentality. Uphold me through every challenge and bring the assignment You have given me to successful completion. I refuse to doubt. I am an overcomer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
