“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” Psalms 23:6 KJV
Wherever mercy is found, help is also present; and wherever divine help
appears, mercy has already gone ahead. We all need both the mercy and the help
of God to live victoriously. When mercy speaks judgment keep quiet, because the
Bible declares that “mercy rejoiceth against judgment” (James 2:13). When God
shows you mercy, He does not leave you helpless; He rises to support, defend,
strengthen, and deliver you.
The first expression of God’s goodness is His mercy. When you carry
God’s presence, you enjoy His mercy, His help, and His goodness. That is why
Scripture invites us to come boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may
obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Divine
mercy opens the door for divine assistance, and when God is helping you, no
battle can defeat you.
Prophetic Word: May the mercy of God speak for you
where your strength cannot speak. May divine help arise for you in every area
of need. From today, goodness, mercy, and help shall follow you all the days of
your life, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer: Father, I come boldly
to Your throne of grace. Let Your mercy prevail over every judgment against me,
and let Your help arise for me in every situation. Surround me with Your
goodness, guide me by Your presence, and cause Your mercy to follow me all the days
of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
