Wash and be clean!

“And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?.” 2 Kings 5:13 KJV

Wash and be clean? What a simple way to solve a deep rooted and long term problem!! God often hides extraordinary breakthroughs in simple instructions. Naaman’s healing came through washing in the Jordan (2 Kings 5:10–14). Peter’s fruitless labour ended when he obeyed, “Launch out into the deep” (Luke 5:4–6), while a widow’s overwhelming debt was settled through borrowed empty vessels (2 Kings 4:3–7).

Do not despise the simplicity of God’s direction. Your next level may be hidden in one instruction; an act of faith, humility or obedience. When God speaks, obey promptly. A simple step under divine direction can terminate a long-standing struggle.

Prophetic Word: Y Your breakthrough will not be complicated. God will reveal the instruction that unlocks your next level. As you obey, every deep-rooted problem, fruitless struggle and long-standing burden shall come to an end. Your portion shall be delivered speedily, in Jesus’ name..

Prayer: Father, give me the humility to hear and the faith to obey Your instructions. Reveal the step that will unlock my breakthrough, and bring every long-standing struggle in my life to an end, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
