“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63KJV
No one genuinely encounters the living Word of God and remains
unchanged. The same Word that brought the heavens and the earth into existence
has the power to reshape a life, renew a mind, restore hope, and redirect a
destiny (Genesis 1:1-3). Jesus declared that His words are are spirit and life
(John 6:63). When God spoke to Ezekiel, the Spirit entered him and enabled him
to stand (Ezekiel 2:2). This shows that the Word of God carries within it the
Spirit that makes things happen. When the Word enters your heart through
revelation, it imparts spiritual capacity; your weakness turns to strength
(Mathew 4:19; John 1:14-16).
There are dimensions of ministry that become possible when a person
receives the spirit communicated through God’s Word. Joshua and Caleb displayed
a different attitude because Caleb had “another spirit” within him (Numbers
14:24). When the Spirit that rested upon Moses came upon the elders, they began
to function in a new spiritual capacity (Numbers 11:25–29). In the same way,
testimonies of faith, sound teaching, and anointed materials can awaken
spiritual understanding and inspire believers to step into what God has already
placed within them. Therefore, guard what you hear and carefully choose what
you continually meditate upon, because what enters your heart will eventually
shape your life (Proverbs 4:23).
Prophetic Word: I declare that the Word of God will enter
your heart with fresh power and understanding. Every limitation is broken. The
Spirit of God will breathe upon the Word you have received, and you will rise
with new strength and spiritual capacity. You will not remain where you are;
the Word will build you and make you into the person God has called you to
become, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer: Father,
thank You because Your Word is spirit and life. Open my heart to hear You. Let
Your Spirit enter me through Your Word and produce divine ability. Make me
through Your Word and let my life become a visible expression of Your grace and
power. In Jesus’ name, amen.
