Beware of the thief!

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Genesis 3:1 KJV

The enemy’s first attack in Eden was not merely against the fruit; it was against God’s Word. He questioned what God had said because he knew that if Eve doubted the Word, she would eventually lose the blessing attached to it. Jesus later revealed the same strategy: “The sower soweth the word,” and Satan comes immediately to steal the Word that has been sown in the heart (Mark 4:14–15). The Word is the seed; the fruit is the evidence. When the seed is stolen, the harvest is threatened. The real thief is the one that steals information or revelation from you.

Beware of the thief who speaks through doubt, fear and limitation; He says you cannot do it, you are too old, you are too young, you have failed before, you cannot change, you cannot grow, you cannot become more. Reject that voice. Do not allow discouragement to steal the instruction, revelation, opportunity or information God is sending to move you forward. Jesus identified the thief as one who comes “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy,” but He came that we might have abundant life (John 10:10). Stop listening to the thief; listen to the Shepherd (John 10:8)

Prophetic Word: I declare that every voice assigned to steal your confidence, distort God’s Word and frustrate your progress is silenced. You will hear clearly, believe boldly and act decisively. The Word planted in you will not be stolen; it will produce its appointed harvest. In Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, sharpen my spiritual discernment. Help me recognise every voice that contradicts Your Word and give me grace to reject fear, doubt and limitation. Guard the seed of Your Word in my heart and cause it to produce abundant fruit in my life. I choose to hear and follow the voice of the Shepherd. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
