“And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.” John 11:43-44(KJV)
No matter how trapped, stagnant, or lifeless your situation may seem, God’s power is able to bring you out. Just as Jesus stood before the tomb of Lazarus and called him forth, He is calling you out of every dead situation. Lazarus was bound hand and foot, wrapped in graveclothes, yet at the voice of Jesus, life surged back into his body, and he stepped out of the grave. In the same way, God’s voice is calling you out of your dead-like situation. When the enemy whispers that your dreams are dead and your future is sealed, remember that Jesus is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25). He speaks life where there was none, and His word has the power to break every chain holding you captive.
The story of Ezekiel in the valley of dry
bones is another powerful reminder of God’s ability to restore and revive
(Ezekiel 37:11-14). The bones represented a people who had lost hope, but at
God’s command, they came together, received breath, and stood up as a mighty
army. God declares, “I will open your graves and bring you up from them.” This
is His promise to you today—you are not staying in the grave of failure,
disappointment, or stagnation. His Spirit is breathing new life into your
destiny, and He is placing you in the land of His promise. Stand in faith, for
the same God who raised Lazarus and restored Israel is at work in your life.
You are coming out!
Prophetic word: I declare over your life today that every grave of stagnation, delay, and limitation is opening up! The same voice that called Lazarus out of the tomb is calling you forth into life, purpose, and destiny. The Spirit of the Lord is breathing upon every dry bone in your life, reviving what seemed hopeless, and restoring what was lost. Chains are breaking, doors are opening, and the graveclothes that once held you bound are being removed. The Lord says, "Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive it?" (Isaiah 43:19). Every closed door will open at His command, and what has been held back shall be released in Jesus' name. Your season of delay has ended, and your testimony is now!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for being the resurrection and the life. Just as You called Lazarus out of the tomb and restored him, I ask that You call me out of every place of limitation and bring me into the fullness of Your promises. Speak life into my situation, O Lord, and let every dry bone in my life receive breath. I reject every grave of stagnation, failure, and disappointment—I declare that I am rising into purpose and destiny. Lord, loose every chain, break every stronghold, and remove every hindrance that seeks to keep me bound. Fill me afresh with Your Spirit, and place me in the land of blessing and fulfillment. I declare by faith that I am coming out, stepping into victory, and walking in divine purpose. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
