“And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?” Judges 6:14
Beloved, one of the greatest hindrances to fulfilling your God-ordained destiny is timidity. Many times, what God calls us to do feels far greater than our natural abilities, yet He equips those He calls. When the Lord called Gideon in Judges 6:14, He told him to “Go in this thy might...”—even though Gideon felt weak and inadequate. God saw in him what he couldn't see in himself. Like Moses who doubted his ability to speak (Exodus 4:10-12), or Jeremiah who felt too young (Jeremiah 1:6-8), they all had to overcome internal limitations to step fully into their assignments. Self-confidence rooted in God's Word is not arrogance—it is faith in His work through you. When you doubt yourself, you limit what God can do through you. But when you believe that He has empowered you, even the impossible becomes possible.
The Word assures us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that “God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.” This truth is echoed in Peter’s bold declaration in Acts 3:6: “Such as I have give I thee…” He acted with confidence in what God had given him. Likewise, you carry something from heaven that your generation needs. Don't let fear hold you back. Step out in faith. Remember Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” You will accomplish great things in this generation—go for it with divine boldness. I see you breaking barriers and obtaining unusual results in Jesus’ name!
Prophetic word: "This is your season to arise with holy confidence. I have placed within you treasures yet untapped, abilities yet unleashed, and power yet demonstrated. The days of hiding are over. Like Gideon, I am calling you out of obscurity into the limelight. You will face what once intimidated you and overcome it with grace. I have anointed your hands to build, your voice to speak, and your presence to shift atmospheres. Fear shall no longer be your portion. You will walk in divine strength and fulfill your assignment without delay. The oil of boldness is upon you. Go forward, for I am with you," says the Lord.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for calling me into purpose. I reject every spirit of fear, self-doubt, and hesitation. I receive Your boldness to step into my assignment with confidence. Stir up the gifts within me and awaken every dormant potential. I declare that I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Let the fire of courage burn in my heart. Today, I rise in faith, walk in boldness, and confidently embrace the vision you have given me. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
