Not after the flesh!

“Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.” 2 Corinthians 5:16 KJV

You must learn to see beyond appearances and relate to people by spiritual discernment, not merely by what the eyes can see. Every person you encounter is more than flesh and blood; there is always a spiritual reality behind every relationship and every encounter. Some people come into your life to advance God’s purpose, while others come to test, challenge, or oppose it. So, wisdom demands that you deal with the spirit behind the flesh, not just the outward form.

Jesus revealed this when Peter confessed Him as the Christ, and He declared that such knowledge did not come from flesh and blood but from the Father (Matthew 16:16–17). Scripture shows that God positions people strategically as channels of blessing and direction (1 Samuel 9:15–16; 2 Kings 4:9). Satan also does so, positioning men as instruments of opposition (2 Samuel 15:31; Acts 13:8). Therefore, your relationships carry spiritual weight. When you seek the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, you discern the assignment of people in your life, make sound decisions, and walk in alignment with God’s purpose (Colossians 1:9).

Prophetic Word: I declare that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation rests upon you. You will no longer walk by sight alone, but by divine insight. God orders your steps, aligns your relationships, and separates you from every wrong influence. You will recognize the helpers He sends and walk safely in His purpose, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for opening my eyes to see beyond the flesh. Grant me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, that I may discern rightly and walk in Your will. Order my relationships, guide my decisions, and keep me aligned with Your purpose. Let my life reflect Your wisdom and Your glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
