Deal with powerlessness!

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:" Psalm 8:4-6 KJV

To deal with powerlessness, you must first understand what true power is. Power is not noise, position, or human control; I define it as the God-given ability to do what you are called to do, even in the face of resistance. What many people call “powerlessness” is often ignorance of what God has already placed within them and made available to them. Scripture reveals that power flows from God-consciousness in our own self-consciousness (John 10:35; Exodus 7:1). When Jesus is revealed to us, we are brought into this reality (John 1:14).

When you live from this truth, you no longer see yourself as small, defeated, or limited. You begin to see yourself as God sees you, crowned with glory and honor, and entrusted with dominion. The Spirit of God lives in you, renewing your mind and shaping your thinking (1 Corinthians 6:19; Romans 12:2). That is why you can confidently say that you are not overcome by circumstances; you overcome them (1 John 4:4). Through Christ, you have strength for every assignment and every season (Philippians 4:13), because you carry His mind and His life within you (Philippians 2:5). There is nothing that confronts you that God has not already empowered you to face. He has put all things under your feet, and He expects you to walk in that dominion.

Prophetic Word: I declare that you will no longer live with a sense of weakness, fear, or limitation. Your eyes are opened to see who you are in Christ and what God has placed within you. You will walk in divine confidence, spiritual authority, and clear purpose. Every lie of powerlessness is broken, and you will take your place in dominion and victory, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, thank You that You have crowned me with glory and honor and given me dominion through Christ. Deliver me from every mindset of weakness and limitation. Renew my mind by Your Spirit and help me to live from the reality of Your power within me. I receive strength, confidence, and wisdom to walk in the authority You have given me. I declare that I am not powerless but empowered by You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
