Deal with impatience!

“In your patience possess ye your souls.” Luke 21:19 KJV

Patience is not weakness; it is sustained strength under pressure, sustained persistence. It is the grace to keep standing, keep praying, keep confessing, and keep obeying even when results seem delayed. The Bible reveals that God responds to persevering faith; Cornelius’ prayers were remembered (Acts 10:4), and Zacharias’ long-awaited petition was answered in God’s time (Luke 1:13). Patience keeps you in the right posture as God works behind the scenes.

If you want to arrive at God’s promise, you must deal with impatience and refuse to quit. We are exhorted not to grow weary in well-doing (Galatians 6:9), but to be followers of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises (Hebrews 6:12). Like the persistent widow, continue in prayer and expectation (Luke 18:5–8). Patience does not deny the pressure; it outlasts it, and in doing so, it empowers you to possess your possessions and secure the promise. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit.

Prophetic Word: I declare that you will receive grace to wait and strength to endure. You will not faint in the season of delay, and you will not abandon what God has begun. Your perseverance will be rewarded, your prayers will be remembered, and your harvest will come at the appointed time, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Oh God, I thank You for Your promises are true. Teach me to remain steadfast when answers seem slow and to trust Your timing without wavering. Help me to persevere in faith, prayer, and obedience until I inherit the promise. I receive strength to endure and grace to wait well, and I commit my ways into Your hands, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
