The ABCs of getting results!

“And a certain man found him, and behold, he was wondering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, what seeketh thou?” Gen 37:15 KJV

The ABCs of getting results begin with having a clear vision of what you are seeking. Just as Joseph, before his destiny unfolded, was asked, “What seekest thou?”, you must also define what you are pursuing in life. Without a goal, there is no prize to win. Determine what results you want to see, commit them to God in prayer, and sow seeds of faith toward them. When your goals are revealed by God, they become more than ambitions; they transform into divinely inspired harvests waiting for manifestation. Apostle Paul declared, “This one thing I do… I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14). To achieve this, you must learn to forget past failures, eliminate distractions, and keep pressing forward with trust in God’s guidance, remembering that when you acknowledge Him in all your ways, He directs your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The second step is to craft and execute an action plan, because goals without action remain only dreams. Zacchaeus, despite his limitations, strategically positioned himself to encounter Jesus by climbing a sycamore tree (Luke 19:2-5). His example shows that barriers can be overcome with determination and wise planning. In the same way, Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem through prayerful planning and diligent action (Nehemiah 2:17-18). Your knowledge, wisdom, and the information you gather matter greatly, but even more so when illuminated by revelation from God. Every plan leads somewhere; if your plan is misaligned, your results will miss the mark. Therefore, act decisively. Do not procrastinate like the slothful servant in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:24-30); instead, move in faith, even when your feelings suggest otherwise. Like Joshua, who was told, “Arise, go over this Jordan” (Joshua 1:2), the key is to rise, act, and keep moving forward, for it is in doing that your results are delivered.

Prophetic word: I prophesy over your life that your goals will no longer be vague or unclear, but they shall be sharpened by divine revelation. I prophesy that every veil of confusion and stagnation that has hindered your progress is lifted in the name of Jesus. I declare that your steps are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23) and that your goals are transformed into fruitful harvests. I prophesy that like Joseph, you will find divine direction in your wandering (Genesis 37:15), and like Paul, you will press toward your mark with renewed strength and clarity (Philippians 3:14). I prophesy that every barrier before you will crumble, and like Zacchaeus, your determination and strategic positioning will grant you divine visitation and lasting results (Luke 19:5).

Prayer: Father, I thank You for the power of clarity, vision, and divine direction. Lord, I ask that You open my eyes to see the goals You have prepared for me and give me the wisdom to align my desires with Your will. Help me to forget past failures and disappointments, and empower me to press forward toward the prize of Your high calling in Christ. Lord, grant me the courage to plan with wisdom and revelation, and the discipline to act without delay or procrastination. Break every chain of limitation and stagnation in my life, and let my steps be ordered into fruitful paths. As I trust in You with all my heart, may my ways be established, my goals be accomplished, and my results be evident to all, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
