Be hungry for God!

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6 KJV

God cannot be separated from His Spirit, His word, His kingdom, and His righteousness. He is calling you to desire Him above all else (Matthew 5:6). As the psalmist declares, “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God” (Psalm 42:1–2). When you set your heart on seeking God’s presence and nature, everything else will fall into place (Matthew 6:33). The reward of hunger for God is found in  Daniel, who received the excellent Spirit of God (Daniel 5:11–12). This proves that there is a realm where God’s Spirit and man’s spirit unite (Isaiah 11:1-2).

So, what must you do? Begin to pursue Him daily with passion and consistency. Set aside time to pray, asking, “Lord, reveal Yourself to me. Let me hear You, let me see You.” God assures us, “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). Think of Moses, who cried out to see God’s glory (Exodus 33:18), or Mary, who sat at Jesus’ feet choosing the better part (Luke 10:39–42). Their hunger brought divine encounters. If you will make the cry of your soul to know Him, He will surely fill you, manifest Himself through you, and you will walk in the reality of His kingdom on earth.

Prophetic word: I prophesy over you today that your hunger for God will deepen (Psalms 42:7). Every thirst in your soul shall be satisfied with the living water of His presence (John 7:37–38). I decree that distractions that once pulled you away from His presence will lose their power over you. As you seek Him with all your heart, God will reveal Himself to you in a new dimension, just as He appeared to Moses in glory and to Daniel in wisdom. I prophesy that the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, and might (Isaiah 11:2) will rest upon you, enabling you to walk in divine clarity and power. You will not only encounter God but also manifest His kingdom in righteousness, peace, and joy (Romans 14:17).

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the promise that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. Lord, stir up within me a holy hunger for Your presence. Fill my heart with a deep longing for You. Just as the deer pants for water, let my soul pant after You daily. Reveal Yourself to me, O Lord, and let me experience Your glory. Let every sin, sickness, and bondage be broken as I dwell in Your presence. I pray for grace to be consistent in seeking You, and for open eyes and ears to see and hear You clearly. Father, let Your Spirit unite with my spirit and let Your power be made manifest in and through me. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
