Born with wings!

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 KJV

Beloved, when you were born again in Christ, you were not merely rescued; you were reborn with wings! This is not poetic exaggeration; it is a divine reality. Like the eagle that soars without flapping endlessly, you were designed by grace to rise above storms, not to be consumed by them. In Scripture, God repeatedly likens His care and empowerment to the eagle’s flight, “I bare you on eagles’ wings and brought you unto myself” (Exodus 19:4). You are not called to crawl through life, but to mount up, to ascend spiritually, mentally, emotionally carried by the breath of the Holy Spirit.

Eagles have vision to see far, strength to carry heavy prey, and discernment to navigate winds. Likewise, you’ve been given spiritual eyes to perceive divine direction, strength to overcome trials (Philippians 4:13), and the mind of Christ to sense the winds of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:16). But here's the key: they that wait upon the Lord. Waiting isn't passive; it is the posture of worship, prayer, listening, and surrender, like Moses who lingered on Mount Sinai until his face shone (Exodus 34:29), or like Mary who sat at Jesus’ feet (Luke 10:39). When you choose the presence of God over the pressure of performance, you activate the wings of grace within you. It’s not your flapping, but your yielding, that causes you to rise. Wait. Trust. Soar. You were born with wings; use them.

Prophetic word: I prophesy over your life today, in the name of Jesus, that the wind of the Spirit is beginning to lift you into a new dimension of strength, vision, and divine acceleration. Every weight that has clipped your wings is being removed. Every lie that told you “you can’t,” “you won’t,” or “you’re not enough,” is being silenced by the voice of the Lord who says, “You were born with wings!” I declare that fresh revelation, unstoppable stamina, and divine strategy are coming upon you. The same God who empowered Elijah to outrun the chariot (1 Kings 18:46) is giving you supernatural speed to recover lost time and surpass human limitations. You will no longer live beneath your calling. You will soar above every storm, in Jesus’ name!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the divine identity I have in Christ. Thank You that I am not meant to crawl in defeat but to soar in victory. Just as You promised in Isaiah 40:31, I receive renewed strength today. Teach me to wait on You, not in impatience, but in intimacy. I surrender my own striving, my limited sight, and my weary heart. Holy Spirit, be the wind beneath my wings. Lift me above confusion, discouragement, and delay. Give me eagle eyes to see purpose, eagle strength to carry destiny, and eagle boldness to defeat every serpent in my path. I declare that I walk in divine timing, divine grace, and divine authority. From today, I shall mount up with wings as an eagle and never go back to the ground of fear or defeat. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen!.
