Claim this word!

“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:18 KJV

When you meditate upon the written Word, pray it, and confess it, the Spirit of God makes it a living, spoken word in your life. For the one who has endured affliction for a long season, hear the Lord: surely there is an end. Just as God brought Joseph out of prison into the palace (Genesis 41:14), delivered Hannah from barrenness into fruitfulness (1 Samuel 1:20), and turned Job’s captivity into double restoration (Job 42:10), so shall He bring your season of pain to an end. I decree by the authority of Christ that the affliction ceases today, and your expectation of deliverance, prosperity, fruitfulness, and manifestation shall not be cut off in Jesus’ name.

The Word of God stands sure: “What do ye imagine against the Lord? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time” (Nahum 1:9). “The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17–19). No affliction is permitted to continue in your life, for Jesus bore your griefs and carried your sorrows (Isaiah 53:4–5). Just as Paul and Silas sang in prison and chains were broken (Acts 16:25–26), may every chain of limitation in your life be shattered. Your affliction comes to an end, your expectation shall manifest, and your testimony shall bring glory to God in Jesus’ mighty name.

Prophetic word: I prophesy over your life that every long-standing affliction comes to an end today, in the mighty name of Jesus. I decree that your expectation shall not be cut off, and the Lord will bring you into your season of joy, breakthrough, and restoration. I prophesy fruitfulness where there has been barrenness, peace where there has been turmoil, and abundance where there has been lack. Just as Hannah conceived after years of waiting (1 Samuel 1:20), and Job received double after his trial (Job 42:10), I declare that your story shall change for glory. Every chain holding you back is broken like those of Paul and Silas in prison (Acts 16:25–26). Your expectation shall be fulfilled, and your testimony shall spring forth speedily in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your unfailing Word that declares there is an end, and my expectation shall not be cut off. Lord, I pray that every affliction in my life and family comes to a divine end today in Jesus’ name. Arise, O Lord, and scatter every power contending with my peace, joy, health, and prosperity. Deliver me from every trouble as You have promised in Psalm 34:17–19. I pray for supernatural restoration, fruitfulness, and breakthroughs in every area of my life. Let the oil of gladness replace the garment of mourning, and let testimonies of victory fill my mouth. Thank You, Lord, because I know You are faithful to Your promises, and it shall be unto me according to Your Word, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
