New things!

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV

Beloved, God is speaking directly to you through His Word in Isaiah 43:18-19, declaring that He will do a new thing in your life. In the same way He made a way for the Israelites through the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21-22) and provided manna in the wilderness (Exodus 16:4-5), He will make a way for you in impossible situations. He is the same God who turned the barren womb of Sarah into a cradle of nations (Genesis 21:1-2) and brought water from a rock for His thirsty people (Numbers 20:8). If He could transform dry bones into an exceeding great army (Ezekiel 37:10), He can surely bring life, abundance, and breakthrough into every dry and desolate area of your life. Forget the former things—God’s plans for you are far greater than anything you have experienced before (Jeremiah 29:11).

God is ready to bring rivers into your desert and make a way in your wilderness. He is the One who declares, “I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys” (Isaiah 41:18). Whatever wilderness you are in—a place of stagnation, loneliness, or seeming impossibility—He is making a way for you. Whatever desert you face—whether financial struggles, spiritual dryness, or emotional barrenness—He is bringing rivers of refreshing, provision, and joy. To experience this, believe as Abraham did, even when hope seemed lost (Romans 4:18-21); declare boldly what you expect from God (Job 22:28); and obey Him as the servants at the wedding in Cana did, resulting in water becoming wine (John 2:5-10). This week, as you trust and align with Him, you will see new things spring forth in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Prophetic word: I prophesy into your life today that the season of stagnation is over! Every wilderness in your life—be it in your career, relationships, or ministry—will give way to the path God is creating. The rivers of God’s abundance and refreshing will flow into every desert in your life. God is about to turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11) and your scarcity into overflow. Just as He did for Joseph, elevating him from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41:39-44), God is preparing a great turnaround for you. Behold, the new thing shall spring forth now! It will be sudden, undeniable, and full of His glory. Doors of favor and opportunities will open, and what was difficult before will become easy in Jesus’ name. Get ready, for you will testify soon!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Word that assures us of new beginnings. Lord, I pray that every wilderness in my life receives a divine path. Let rivers of abundance flow into my desert places. I declare that every failure is replaced with success, every disappointment with divine appointments, and every rejection with supernatural acceptance. Father, as I believe Your Word, let me be established; as I declare Your promises, let me see manifestations; and as I obey Your instructions, let my joy be full. O God, do a new thing in my life that will bring You glory. I seal this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
