Attitude is everything! 1

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18KJV

Your attitude is indeed more important than any circumstance you face. Make sure you align your attitude with God’s unseen, unchanging promises. If you do, your circumstances will soon change to match the unseen promises of God. As Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." This faith is more powerful than any visible reality and enables you to look beyond the temporary to the eternal. When faced with the impossible, like Abraham and Sarah waiting for a child in their old age, they didn’t stagger at God’s promise. Instead, they held a steadfast attitude of belief, which brought God’s promise to fruition (Romans 4:20-21). Their unwavering attitude allowed them to receive what was humanly impossible.

Remember that your attitude shapes your outcomes and attracts God's intervention. When Jairus faced the devastating news that his daughter had died, Jesus told him, “Do not be afraid; only believe” (Mark 5:36). Jairus's decision to trust, rather than yield to despair, led to a miraculous resurrection. Similarly, in 2 Kings 4, the Shunammite woman declared, “It is well,” despite her grief, because she believed in God’s power to restore. Like her, focus on the unseen promises of God and hold firm to a positive, faith-filled attitude, knowing that with God, every fact is subject to change. As you meditate on His word (Joshua 1:8) and renew your mind daily (Romans 12:2), you’ll see the truth of His promises unfold, transforming even the most difficult situations.

Prophetic word: "Lift your eyes above the temporary trials and set your heart on My promises. I am the One who sees beyond what is seen, who calls things that are not as though they are (Romans 4:17). My plans for you are good, and My thoughts towards you are peace (Jeremiah 29:11). Do not let your heart be troubled by the circumstances that appear insurmountable, for I am working behind the scenes to bring forth victory. As you hold onto faith and a steadfast spirit, I will turn every impossibility into a testimony. Just as I revived the dead and called life from barren places, I will bring you restoration, provision, and new beginnings. Keep your attitude fixed on My Word, for it is the anchor that will hold you steady and bring forth My power in your life. Watch as I turn things around in ways that will leave you in awe of My glory.”

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your Word, which is a firm foundation and unshakable truth. I pray for the grace to keep my heart and mind anchored in Your promises, to lift my eyes above the circumstances, and see with the eyes of faith. Lord, renew my spirit and help me to stand firm, trusting You to make a way where there seems to be none. Just as You resurrected Jairus's daughter, restore anything lost or broken in my life. Give me the courage to declare, “It is well,” knowing that You are faithful and Your timing is perfect. Lord, let my attitude of faith draw Your power and make room for Your miraculous intervention. I surrender every challenge into Your hands, and I declare that I will see Your goodness in the land of the living. In Jesus' name, Amen.
