Let God lead!

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30 KJV.

Our text today is a powerful truth that reveals that the less of us there is, the more room God has to move in our lives. When we confront life’s battles, we must resist the urge to face them in our own strength. Instead, invite God into the situation. In 2 Chronicles 20:22, as the people praised God, He set ambushes against their enemies. Likewise, when Paul and Silas prayed and sang in prison, the foundations shook and they were supernaturally delivered (Acts 16:25–26). These are divine reminders that the more of God we release into our situation, the more victory we experience.

Therefore, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Refuse to worry after you have prayed (Philippians 4:6). If you receive a negative report, counter it with God’s Word and declare only His report over your life, “Who hath believed our report?” (Isaiah 53:1). Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Establish and maintain a daily altar of fellowship with the Lord, just as Daniel did (Daniel 6:10), making time to seek Him consistently. And when challenges arise, speak boldly in the name of the Lord like David before Goliath (1 Samuel 17:45) and exercise mountain-moving faith (Mark 11:23). Let go, and let God take over. Victory is assured when He leads.

Prophetic word: Beloved, the Lord says, "This is your season to surrender and see My power. As you step back, I will step in. As you release control, I will release breakthroughs. You have fought long enough in your own strength, but now I call you to rest in Me. I am the Lord who goes before you (Deuteronomy 31:8), and I will make crooked paths straight. I will silence every voice of fear and defeat. Trust Me with your battles, and I will turn them into testimonies. Speak My Word, stand on My promises, and you will see My salvation. You are not alone—I am with you, and I will fight for you."

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I surrender all to You today. I acknowledge that without You I can do nothing, but with You all things are possible. Lord, increase in my life as I decrease in self-effort, pride, and worry. I cast every burden at Your feet—my fears, my needs, my uncertainties—and I trust You to take over. I declare Your report over my life, not what the world says. Strengthen my altar of fellowship with You. Let Your presence go before me and fight my battles. Like David, I confront every Goliath in the name of the Lord. Like Jehoshaphat, I lift my praise and trust You to confuse every enemy camp. Thank You, Lord, for victory, for peace, and for divine intervention. I choose to let go and let You lead, now and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
