Don’t lose faith!

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38 KJV.

Faith is the lifeline of the believer, the anchor of our soul in the storms of life. Faith is the force that propels us forward. When we retreat in fear or doubt, we disconnect from the very force that pleases God and propels us forward. If you lose anything—wealth, relationships, health—never lose faith. Faith is the divine currency with which we access restoration, healing, and miracles. By faith, the elders obtained a good report (Hebrews 11:2), and through faith, we too can recover all that has been lost. David, in 1 Samuel 30, faced deep despair when Ziklag was raided, but through faith and divine guidance, he rose up and “recovered all.” Faith moves us beyond despair into action, beyond mourning into miracles.

Faith is about enduring and living in the fullness of God’s promises. Hebrews 11:3 tells us that through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. That means faith can bring something out of nothing—it creates, restores, and revives. Even when Abraham had no physical evidence, he believed God’s promise and became the father of nations (Romans 4:17-21). Peter walked on water until he looked away in doubt (Matthew 14:28-31)—so hold onto faith and keep your eyes on Jesus. If you’re walking through the fire like the three Hebrew boys, let your faith assure you that you won’t be burned (Daniel 3). In this world of trials, faith is our shield (Ephesians 6:16), and without it, we risk losing divine backing. Stay in faith. Faith ensures that even if you fall, you fall forward.

Prophetic word: The Spirit of the Lord says, “Do not fear what you see, for I am doing a work that may be unseen for a time. The delay is not denial, and the loss is not the end. I am the Restorer of broken years and the Rebuilder of desolate places. Though your faith has been tested in the fire, it will come forth as pure gold. I am calling you higher, beyond what your eyes can see, into what your faith can claim. Even now, I am opening doors that no man can shut. Keep believing, for you shall recover all. You shall testify of My goodness, for I am faithful to the end. Lift your eyes to Me, and walk forward in faith—I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Prayer: Father in Heaven, thank You for the gift of faith that connects me to You. Even when I cannot see the way, I trust in Your promise. Lord, strengthen my heart where it is weary, and revive my spirit where it feels faint. I refuse to draw back—I choose to press forward in faith, believing that You are working all things together for my good. Restore what has been lost, O God, and let my testimony be one of divine recovery and glory. Let the fire of doubt be quenched by the waters of Your Word, and let faith arise in me like never before. I declare that I shall live by faith and not by sight, and through faith, I will see the impossible become possible. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
