Your scriptural identity in Christ!

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4KJV

Let me share with you three scriptures that define you if you are a believer in Christ. As believers in Christ, our identity is firmly rooted in the Word of God. Jesus Himself declared in Matthew 4:4 that we do not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. This means that our true essence and purpose are found in Scripture. Psalm 139:14 reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, crafted with divine intention and excellence. 1 Peter 2:9 affirms that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, set apart to reflect God’s glory. And Revelation 5:10 declares that we have been made kings and priests unto God, destined to reign on the earth. These scriptures reveal who we truly are in Christ—valued, chosen, and empowered.

The Word of God is eternal and unshakable; whatever is revealed to you through Scripture is greater than any situation you face. As John 10:35 states, “If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.” No circumstance can diminish our divine identity if God has called us His own. This is why I declare with conviction: I am fearfully and wonderfully made; I am chosen and peculiar; I am a king and a priest, and I reign on earth in Jesus’ name! I encourage you to hold fast to these truths and never settle for anything less than what God has spoken over your life.

Go forth in faith, for you are who God says you are!

Prophetic word: The Lord says to you today: "I have set My seal upon you, and you are Mine. You are not ordinary, for I have called you out of darkness into My marvelous light. Walk boldly in the identity I have given you, for you are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation, and a king! The time of small thinking is over. You are valued, chosen, and empowered! My Word spoken over you will not return void but will accomplish all I have purposed. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you have the power to condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. The doors that seemed closed are now opening, and the season of reigning has come. Stand firm, for I am with you, and nothing can separate you from My love.” (Psalms 139:14, 1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 5:10).

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your unfailing Word that defines my true identity. I declare that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, chosen, and set apart for Your purpose. I embrace my calling as a royal priest, a king in Your Kingdom, and I take my place in divine authority. Lord, open my eyes to see myself as You see me, and let every contrary voice be silenced. I break every limitation, doubt, and fear that seeks to hinder me from walking in my full inheritance in Christ. May Your Word take deep root in my heart and transform my life. I decree that I reign in every area—spiritually, financially, emotionally, and physically. Let the manifestation of Your promises in my life bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen!
