“Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.” Ezekiel 1:1 KJV
I want to share the encounters that separate a person from the crowd today and tomorrow. The first is an open heaven and a vision(s) of God. Whenever God chooses to separate a person for His purpose, He grants them an open heaven and divine visions. Our Lord Jesus experienced this at the beginning of His ministry when “the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove” (Matthew 3:16). This marked the beginning of His public ministry, setting Him apart from the crowd. Likewise, Jacob, while fleeing from Esau, saw a vision of an open heaven at Bethel, where he beheld angels ascending and descending (Genesis 28:12). That encounter changed his destiny forever. No matter your current situation, remain in God’s presence until He opens the heavens over you and grants you a divine revelation.
Paul, who was once Saul, testified before King Agrippa, saying, “Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision” (Acts 26:19). His encounter on the road to Damascus separated him from his old ways and set him on a path of divine purpose. When heaven opens over a man, transformation is inevitable. Moses, after beholding the burning bush, was never the same again (Exodus 3:2-10). Isaiah, after seeing the Lord, went on to prophesy about His coming. Divine encounters bring separation—separation from the crowd and human limitations. May the heavens open over you today. May you receive fresh visions that will set you apart for God’s purpose. May your life be transformed in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prophetic word: The Lord says, "I am setting you apart for a divine purpose. You are not called to blend in with the crowd, but to walk under an open heaven. Just as I revealed Myself to Ezekiel, Jacob, Paul, and My Son, Jesus Christ, I am revealing Myself to you. This is a season of divine encounters and fresh visions. I will open your eyes to see beyond the natural and for you to walk in supernatural wisdom. Do not fear the separation, for I am drawing you closer to My presence. The world may not understand, but I have chosen you for such a time as this. I will pour out My Spirit upon you, and you will walk in new dimensions of My glory. Stay in My presence, and I will show you great and mighty things you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). This is your season of open heavens!"
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your divine presence and for opening the heavens over my life. Just as You set apart Ezekiel, Paul, and Jesus through divine encounters, set me apart for Your glory. Lord, open my eyes to see the visions You have prepared for me. Let every veil of spiritual blindness be removed. I declare that I will not be disobedient to the heavenly vision. Fill me with fresh fire and revelation. Lord, separate me from distractions, sin, and anything that hinders my walk with You. May my life reflect Your purpose, and may I walk in alignment with Your divine will. In the name of Jesus, I declare that this is my season of open heavens, divine transformation, and supernatural encounters. Amen!
