Don’t give up!

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 KJV

Never give up; it is more costly to give up than to continue pushing. You may change direction if you find out that you are not in the right direction, but never ever give up (Genesis 37:15). Patience is not an advantage when you are in the wrong direction (Hebrews 6:12). Speed is not an advantage when you are not in the right direction. Evaluate the situation, and if you are going in the right direction, keep going. Elijah’s persistence in prayer for rain after years of drought is an example (1 Kings 18:41-45). Even when his servant reported no sign of rain six times, Elijah kept praying until a small cloud appeared, leading to a great downpour. Likewise, Jesus emphasized perseverance in the parable of the persistent widow who received justice because she did not give up (Luke 18:1-8).

Your breakthrough may not be immediate, but as long as you stay in the right direction and trust God, you will see the fruits of your labor in due season. In 2 Kings 13:18-19, if Joash had kept striking till Elisha said it was enough, he would have completely overcome his enemies. He gave up before his breakthrough. Read, learn, pray, give, and take steps toward your goal, no matter how small. Keep pushing forward, even when results seem delayed. You will get there in Jesus' name.

Prophetic word: The Lord says to you today: Do not give up! The journey may be long, and the challenges may seem overwhelming, but I, the Lord, am with you. Just as I strengthened Moses to lead My people through the wilderness, I will strengthen you (Deuteronomy 31:6). I am the God who brings streams in the desert and makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). Trust in Me, and in due time, you will see My promises fulfilled. Keep walking by faith, keep sowing, keep praying, and keep believing. Your breakthrough is closer than you think!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness and for the strength You give me to keep going. Lord, I refuse to grow weary, for I know that in due season, I will reap if I do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Fill me with fresh fire, fresh grace, and unwavering faith to keep pressing forward. Remove every discouragement, every fear, and every doubt that tries to hinder my progress. Like Joseph, help me to hold on to the vision even in difficult times. Like Elijah, help me to keep praying until I see the rain. Lord, I declare that my season of harvest is near, and I will not give up before my breakthrough! In Jesus' name, Amen!
