Your Helpers Shall Be Many!

Your helpers shall be many!
“And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.” 2Sam 11:15.

There are certain battles you cannot fight alone no matter how skillful, talented or strong you are. Uriah might have survived in the hottest battle but for the fact that people withdrew from him. There was no one to support him. The strength of any man is the strength of the people that are committed to him, people that are ready to help him. You can do what you don’t have strength to do if people are available who have the strength and are willing to help you do it. That is why God asked me to pray this prayer for you this morning that: Your helpers shall be many in Jesus name.

Your day is blessed.

Overcoming Discouragement

“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6.

Discouragement means lack of courage to continue. Devil knows that he cannot stop you from achieving your goals unless he sowed the seed of discouragement; and he also knows that God does not work with a discouraged person. Devil is yet to find an answer to someone who is determined and persistent; so when he comes with discouragement you have got to find a reason to pick up your courage back. The Bible says YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS and ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE if you believe.

A business woman once had problems with her business because many owed her. One of the debtors asked her to come one day to collect a significant amount but on getting to the debtor, the person could not pay as promised. The woman became hurt and discouraged to the extent that she started crying when she got home. God opened her eyes and she saw some demons rejoicing; immediately she jumped up, wiped her tears and started making positive confessions and singing to encourage herself.

Beloved, you will get there but pick up your courage because a discouraged person will be stranded.
Have a nice day.

Two Kinds of sight

“And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servants said unto him, Alas, my master! What shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see, And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha” 2kings 6:15-17

The King of Syria sent soldiers to arrest Elisha and when the servant of Elisha saw the enemy, he was afraid. This is because he had one kind of sight but the Man of God prayed for him and when he saw what he could not see before his fear disappeared.

Beloved what you have seen is the challenge but the Lord has sent me to make you see what you could not see. What you have not seen is bigger than what you have seen. Behind the challenge is a big victory, a big success, a big promotion, a big celebration. When the enemy comes with sickness, God raises a standard of healing; when the enemy comes with poverty, God raises a standard of abundance; when the enemy comes with failure God raises a standard of success, when the enemy comes with barrenness God raises a standard of fruitfulness; when the enemy comes with a barrier, God raises a standard of breakthrough. Beloved even if you have seen what the enemy has come up with, don’t fail to see the standard that God has raised against him. Now what should you do, change your language, let your language reflect what God has done and not what the enemy is doing. This is because what you see and say comes to pass in your life.

Let your spiritual eyes be opened to see the victory God has wrought for you in Jesus name.
Have a nice day.

Vicarious Liability

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2Cor 5:21

Jesus took our place as sinner 2000 years ago; a crown of thorn was put on Him, they spat on Him, mocked Him, Slapped Him and eventually killed Him on the cross of Calvary. He went through all these so that everyone who repents and believes in Him can be free from the hold of Sin, Satan and Sickness.

Beloved, you have been made the righteousness of God through Him and so free from the judgment that is meant for the wicked. Any attempt by the devil to keep you in bondage to sin and sickness must be resisted. Jesus went through poverty so that you should be rich, He went through pain so that you should be healthy, He went through bondage so that you should be free, He went through death so that you should be alive. He took your place so that the benefits of the righteous should be your portion.

Now everyone must repent and accept Jesus; including your colleagues, your boss, your friends and those you know who have not taken the step to become children of God. None of them need to suffer for sin anymore because Jesus had taken their place. You can use this Easter season to send a message of God’s love to them.

But as for you, begin to enforce all that Jesus did for you.
Happy Easter

Your Identity & The Challenges of Life

“Then he stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, “Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me.” 1 Samuel 17:9.

Don’t allow the challenges you are facing redefine your identity. The first thing Goliath did was to give a wrong identity to the people of Israel. He called them servants of Saul but that is not their true identity. They accepted the lies and since Saul was there and could do nothing, they felt they could not deal with Goliath. They forgot that their true identity is in God. They are the covenant children of God and as a result God had performed miracles in their lives which was more than the challenge from Goliath. For 40days Goliath terrorized them until a man who knew their true identity came to the scene.

“Then David spoke…For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that should defy the ARMIES OF THE LIVING GOD.” 1 Sam 17:26.

Brethren, you are a child of the living God. No matter the challenges before you, the bible tells us that we are more than conquerors. You are not a failure neither are you a weakling. You are no longer under curse, you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus. As you go through life, remember who you are in God and let that give you boldness to overcome the challenges of life.
Now if you have not given your life to Christ, then you have no identity with Him and the enemy can terrorize you. Repent today, ask Jesus to come into your life so your identity will change and your name will be written in the book of life.

Your day is blessed.

What have you done with this?

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him?” Mathew 7:11

One of the greatest promises of God to you in the Bible is Mathew 7:7 -Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you. The Lord told me to ask you what have you done with this verse?

In Mark 6:17-26, the wicked Herodias wanted to punish John the Baptist, she wanted revenge for the evil she believed he had done her, when he publicly declared her wrong as wrong and evil. She got the “opportunity” when a mere earthly king told her daughter: “Whatever you shall ask from me, I will give it to you, to the half of my kingdom”. The wicked woman told the daughter to ask for the head of John the Baptist. Although the king was not happy with the request, he gave it to her because of his integrity.

Beloved, Mathew 7:7 is one of the greatest opportunities God is giving to you. God has exalted His word more than His name. The scripture cannot be broken. The integrity of God’s word surpasses that of men or even a wicked king. Do you need a good thing? Or are you in a desperate situation? Don’t worry, ask God and He will respond to you.

Have a blessed day.

Conquering Evil Counselors

“And one told David, saying Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Jehovah, I pray You, turn the advice of Ahithophel to foolishness.” 2Sam 15:31.

All advice against you is turned to foolishness and hence rejected in Jesus name.

Everyone needs the favor of man to be who God wants him to be(Luke 2:52). An evil counselor is someone who counsels people against you. Some of them are like Ahitophel who when he gives counsel is as if God has spoken. Some may be like Haman who had position of authority with the king. In any case all of them can be conquered. David conquered Ahitophel by asking God to turn his advice to foolishness. His counsel was subsequently rejected and he ended up hanging himself. Haman was conquered by God’s favor on Esther and the Jews. Hear the word of the Lord: A favor is coming upon you that will frustrate all evil counselors in Jesus name.

Are you asking for a favor, seeking for a job, promotion, contract, financial assistance or something good and you sense someone may be offering counsel against you? Then do these
1. Have faith in God that He will give you the favor you need. “When a man's ways please God, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Prov 16:7. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him……” Hebrews 11:6
2. Ask God to turn every counsel against you to foolishness in Jesus name.

It is your season.
