Higher Level of prayer

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28

One level of prayer is when you pray the word of God which is the will of God. 1 John 5:14-15 says “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”

Beloved, there is another level of prayer which I call a higher level. It is the level where God wants all His children to operate. It is the level when you decree and it is established. This was the level Elijah operated when he told King Ahab “As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1Kings 17:1. This was the level Peter operated when he told the lame man at the beautiful gate “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6. At this level you ask for what you will and it is done. I am happy to tell you that you can operate at this level of prayer.

John 15:7 says “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” The Bible says for this to happen, you must abide in Jesus and His word must abide in you. Beloved, when you stay in God’s presence long enough and you meditate on His word long enough, you will attain a level whereby your will and God’s will are the same and whatever you decree will be established. The truth is that at this point you operate at the same level as God (mathematically speaking if A¢B and B¢A then A=B) John 10:35 says “If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” Elijah stood long enough before God and he could tell the king that only what he said would determine what happened in the nation of Israel. You too can do it.

If things have not been working the way you expect in your life, don’t panic! Begin to spend time with God and His word, then you will become a “god” over the situation that is harassing you.

It is well.
(for further study on this meditate on Job 22:21-28; John 15:1-8)

Your Key Into Kingdom Treasure

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Mathew 16:17-18.

Your access to kingdom treasure is revelation. The kingdom is full of joy, righteousness, peace, wealth, health and power. You don’t get these by your own wisdom or by the wisdom of this world. You don’t get these by cheating, stealing or maneuvering of any kind. Whenever you get a revelation and act on it, your level changes.

God’s intention is that the Church will have dominion on earth by revelation; that we would have access to His Kingdom treasure on earth by revelation of His word. But the truth is that revelation is not found on the surface, it is sought out as a man would dig gold or precious stone from the earth. You must spend time with God to access this revelation. Your attendance of Sunday service and weekly service is not enough. You say Pastor but I am very busy; beloved no matter how busy you are, you can begin to see the benefit of spending extra time with God in your business, career, family and destiny. You are more than what you are now and revelation is the key that will take you to where you should be.

I ask God to make these last three months in 2008 the best for you in this year in Jesus name.

Your Capability

“He gave to each one according to his ability: to one he gave five thousand gold coins, to another he gave two thousand, and to another he gave one thousand. Then he left on his trip.” Mathew 25:15.(GNB)
God always give to you according to your ABILITY. The resources with God is unlimited, it is your ABILITY that determines what gets to you. If you are not satisfied with your present position, work upon yourself: study the Bible more, pray more, read more books, attend more trainings, learn more, do more than you are paid for whether you are in employment or personal business; and surely you will receive more from God. God will not give you what you are not capable of handling. When your capability increases, you will receive more.
It is time for the next level.

When the mind is closed!

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:……..” Proverbs 23:7.

Beloved, free your mind for when the mind is closed, road is closed. The greatest restriction a man can experience in life is the restriction in his mind. Prayer and fasting can subdue any opposition even if mounted by the devil himself but if a man is opposing himself in his mind he cannot be helped. Remember the man at the pool of Bethesda wasted 38years because he limited his mind to the help of men only.

The problem is that most times we close our mind because of the words of men, our experiences and what we see around us but the Bible is the final authority over our lives; and the Bible says all things are possible for him that believes. Reject any message of impossibility even if given by the professionals and the so called experts. Remember that the Wright Brothers flew the first plane few months after the experts concluded that man could never fly in the air. Saul told David in 1Samuel 17:33: “…….Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.” But David still went on to kill Goliath. Say to yourself several times: “All things are possible;” be liberal in your thinking in the light of God’s word, go out and do the impossible.

This second half of the year 2008, you shall accomplish what people say you cannot do in Jesus name.

Three Encounters Needed In Life

“Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared and began talking with Jesus” Mt 17:3 (New Living translation)
You need to encounter the Savior (Jesus), your prophet (Elijah) and your Word (Moses) for you to stay victorious always in life’s challenges.
THE SAVIOR: One must accept the Lord Jesus as Savior and Lord for one’s life to have meaning and one’s destiny to take shape. There is no true life purpose outside Christ. “…..He (God) has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do things He planned for us long ago” Eph 2:10b (New Living Translation). People that are outside Christ are blinded by the devil (2Cor 4:4) and are controlled by him (Eph 2:2).Now, one is not a Christian because he attends church services, sings choruses or even preaches on the pulpit. One is a Christian because Christ lives in him and this can happen if you repent from your sin, believe the atonement power of the blood through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and confess Jesus as Savior and Lord.
YOUR PROPHET: Your prophet may be your Pastor , a Man of God that ministers to you or Father in the Lord but he is someone who carries the grace, the blessing and the word to shape your life and to lift you above spiritual barriers. Your prophet is to you what Melchizedech is to Abraham (Gen 14:19); what Samuel is to obedient Saul (1 Sam 9:19); what Isaac is to Jacob (Gen 27:25); and what Elisha is to Jehoshaphath (2Kings 3:14-16). When your prophet speaks to your life, your life must respond, barriers are broken and supernatural aids are made available to you. You relate to your prophet with your tithes and venison (gifts), he inturn releases the blessing. Ask God to lead you to your prophet.
YOUR WORD: Your word is Gods revelation to you as a person. It may be spoken or written but it is revealed (to you). Your destiny is directly attached to it and when it comes you must receive it, believe it and act on it. Joseph was kept in prison until his word came (Psalm 105:17-19 KJV). When you encounter your word, the world will respond to you. There is a word for you to liberate and lead you to your destination. You can encounter your word through your prophet, meditation on the word of God or hearing messages. Ask God to grant you access into the mystery of His word.

I ask God to lift you above all barriers and make crooked ways straightened before you in Jesus name.

God will do it

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” James 1:17.

God is the giver of good gifts. If you desire a child, an husband, a promotion, an increase, or a blessing. They are good and I can assure you God can give you this and much more.

A Pastor shared his testimonies in our monthly meeting last week. He and his wife had been married for eight(8) years, God just gave them a baby boy early this month. He shared his experiences as to advice of people during their waiting period. Different counsel came from different people, some biblical some un-biblical; but they made up their mind to believe God.

Beloved, I don’t know what your desire is but I can assure you that the only thing you need to do is to seek God on the matter. You need not run helter-skelter. Jesus told Martha in Luke 10:42 that “But one thing is needful….” If you get through to God, you will get your miracle.
The Lord will visit you and meet you at the point of your need in Jesus name.

Your day is blessed.

Uncommon Sense

"Master," Simon answered, "we worked hard all night long and caught nothing. But if you say so, I will let down the nets." Luke 5:5

When common sense fails, what you need is an uncommon sense. Every sense comes as a result of information. It is common sense that when you work hard; when you do the right thing at the right time and when you apply the right skill, you succeed. But what happened to Peter and his colleagues in Luke 5 revealed that one can still fail despite the application of this common sense.

At this level an higher information is needed- a word from the Lord which I call an uncommon sense. For some people, they may easily receive the word by an encounter with their prophet like it happened to Peter but in some other cases they may have to seek God’s face to get a word through meditation on the word, fasting and prayer.

Beloved, have you applied the common sense and yet you did not get the result? Don’t give up, there is a way for you. The Lord will lead you and guide you. He will bring you to that mountain of success and breakthrough. Your responsibility is to seek the Lord on the issue and whatever He tells you, do.
It is well.
