A call to spiritual awakening 1

“Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Ephesians 5:14 KJV.

Beloved, we are in a season where the prophetic signs of the end of the age are unfolding before our very eyes. The call to spiritual awakening begins with a return to Bethel, our place of first encounter with God, as seen in Genesis 35:3, where Jacob returned to the altar to meet with the God who had sustained him in his distress. Likewise, we must return to that sacred moment when we first met the Savior, when our hearts were tender and our spirits were open to His voice. Have you truly experienced this second birth? Have you been washed in the blood of Jesus and empowered by His Spirit? Jesus declared in John 3:5-6 that unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. This spiritual rebirth marks the beginning of a true walk with God: a distinction between being born of the flesh and being born of the Spirit. As the days grow darker, God’s agenda for His own is coming to fruition, and we must be spiritually awakened to align with His divine purposes.

The Scriptures say in John 1:12-13 that as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become sons of God, those born not of blood, nor of the will of man, but of God. This divine birth is what distinguishes the redeemed from the religious. Examine yourself. What was your first experience when you encountered Christ? Can you still trace your current life to that moment of transformation? Are you living daily in the consciousness of your identity as God’s child? This is our call to rekindle the fire, to return to our first love (Revelation 2:4-5), and to live in readiness for the return of our King. If you have never had such an encounter, now is the time to invite Jesus into your life. Do not delay, for eternity is real. Pray the prayer of salvation today, asking the Lord Jesus to come into your heart, and your soul will be delivered from eternal damnation.

Prophetic word: Beloved, this is a season of divine reawakening and alignment. The Lord is calling His sons and daughters back to the place of intimacy, to Bethel, the altar of first love. He is rekindling the fire of your spirit and restoring your hunger for His presence. Every spiritual slumber is broken now. Arise, for the Spirit of God is stirring up a new beginning in you. You will not miss the divine visitation of this hour. What was once dormant in your life shall spring forth with power, and you will walk again in the full assurance of your salvation and purpose.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the call to spiritual awakening. I surrender my heart afresh and return to my Bethel, the place of my first encounter with You. Rekindle the fire of Your Spirit within me. Cleanse me, renew me, and empower me to walk in the fullness of my identity in Christ. I will never be spiritually complacent or distracted. Lord, restore my sensitivity to Your voice and align me with Your will in this season. I pray for anyone reading this who has not yet encountered You—may today be the day of their salvation. In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare: I am awake, I am alive in the Spirit, and I am ready for Your coming. Amen.
