Prayer backing

“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31-32 KJV

Who is praying for you, and who are you praying for? When the storms of life arise, your prayer backing can make the difference between standing firm and falling. Jesus knew Peter would face a severe trial, but He prayed that his faith would not fail. Prayer backing is spiritual reinforcement in times of adversity. When faith fails, life's foundation is shaken, for the just shall live by faith (Hebrews 10:38).

As a parent, never underestimate the power of daily intercession for your children. Your prayers can strengthen their faith and preserve them through life's battles. Likewise, who are your spiritual parents, and who stands in prayer with you? Do not wait until the storm comes before seeking prayer covering. A life strengthened by prayer is better equipped to withstand the battles of life (James 5:16; Ephesians 6:18).

Prophetic Word: I declare that your faith shall not fail! You and your children shall not be spiritually exposed in the storms of life. The Lord will raise faithful intercessors for you, and you shall emerge victorious in Jesus' name.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Jesus, who continually intercedes for me. Strengthen my faith, surround me and my family with divine prayer backing, and empower me to stand in the gap for others. Let no storm of life overcome our faith, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
