Understanding your priesthood!

“For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.” Hebrews 7:12 KJV

When you became born again, your spiritual identity changed. In the past, you may have lived under the influence of the flesh, deception, fear, sin, and the oppression of Satan. But in Christ, you have been redeemed and repositioned as a priest unto God. Scripture declares that when the priesthood changes, there must also be a change of law. This means that your life is no longer governed by the law of sin, bondage, curses, fear, or generational limitations. You now operate under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which has made you free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2; Hebrews 7:12).

Therefore, failing to see yourself as a priest is failing to recognise your redeemed position in Christ. God has called you to be both a king and a priest (Revelation 5:10). As a priest, you are empowered to enforce the law of the Spirit over your life, family, destiny, and territory. You must no longer submit to contrary laws or patterns that worked against your lineage. Instead, you must carry yourself with the dignity of your priesthood and refuse every dirty garment of sin, shame, guilt, fear, and compromise. Just as Joshua the high priest received a change of garment, you also must walk in the clean robe of righteousness, authority, and divine acceptance (Zechariah 3:3–4).

Prophetic Word: I declare over your life that your priesthood has changed, and every contrary law working against your destiny is broken in the name of Jesus. The law of sin, fear, failure, stagnation, sickness, ancestral bondage, and satanic accusation shall no longer rule over you. From today, you shall walk in the authority of your redeemed identity. Your garment shall not be stained, your altar shall not be polluted, and your voice shall carry spiritual authority. You are a priest unto God, and the law of the Spirit is at work in your life.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for redeeming me and making me a priest unto You. I receive the full revelation of my priesthood in Christ Jesus. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I reject every law of sin, death, bondage, fear, and generational limitation. I declare that I am no longer under the power of the enemy, but under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
