Get ready, second half 1

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41 KJV

The first half of 2026 is about to end, and this is a good time to pause, reflect, and spiritually examine ourselves. As a ministry, this is our year of the power of God. Jesus instructed His disciples to “watch and pray” because spiritual alertness and prayer are necessary for victory. Paul also admonished believers to examine themselves to know whether they are still standing in faith (2 Corinthians 13:5). Therefore, we must look back over the past six months and ask ourselves honestly how much of the power of God have we seen, experienced, demonstrated, and depended upon in our lives?

This reflection is not for condemnation but for thanksgiving, correction, renewal, and preparation. No matter what the last six months have brought, we must give thanks to God in all things and trust Him for greater grace in the next six months (1 Thessalonians 5:18). If the first half was fruitful, the second half can be more glorious. If the first half was difficult, the second half can bring restoration, direction, strength, and testimonies. As we watch, pray, and examine ourselves, may the remaining months of 2026 reveal the power, mercy, wisdom, and favour of God in greater measure.

Prophetic Word: I declare that the second half of 2026 shall be better, greater, and more fruitful than the first half. The power of God shall speak clearly in your life, family, ministry, work, and destiny. This week shall be profitable for you, and you shall not miss divine direction in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for carrying me through the first half of 2026. Thank You for Your mercy, protection, provision, and grace. Lord, help me to watch, pray, and examine myself sincerely before You. Forgive my errors, strengthen my weakness, renew my faith, and fill me afresh with Your power. Let the second half of this year be better than the first in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
