You shall laugh last!

“Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” Acts 28:6 KJV

I speak prophetically over your life: in the few days remaining in this year, you shall laugh last. It does not matter what has confronted you, resisted you, or tried to swallow your joy; God is stepping into your situation, and He will cause you to laugh. When God intervenes, the end of a thing becomes better than its beginning; the best is always reserved for the last (John 2:10). Even if your journey this year felt like passing through fire or deep waters, the Lord is bringing you into a wealthy place (Psalm 66:12). Heaven does not measure outcomes by how your year began, but by how God chooses to finish it, and He will finish it gloriously.

Just as people watched Paul, expecting his death, expecting failure, expecting shame—yet their expectations were divinely disappointed—so shall it be concerning you. Those who concluded your story too early will change their minds. Every narrative of defeat hanging over you is being rewritten by the hand of God. Remember Jehoiachin, after an entire year of affliction, his captivity turned around suddenly on the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month (2 Kings 25:27). This month, the grace of last-minute divine visitation will locate you. Your story will change, your countenance will change, and you shall laugh last this year.

Prophetic Word: I decree in the name of Jesus: your latter end shall rise in glory. The hand of God overturns every negative expectation. Before this year closes, you will step into a testimony that will cause you to laugh last and laugh well.

Prayer: Father, visit me with Your mercy in these remaining days of the year. Rewrite every negative story, overturn every expectation of the enemy, and bring me into my wealthy place. Let my laughter be restored by Your hand, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
