Engaging the supernatural

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11 KJV

In this season that we celebrate the birth of Christ, I have been trying over the past two days to bring to your attention the fact that you can bring possibilities and the supernatural into your seemingly impossible situations. The birth of Christ itself was not merely miraculous; it was a divine intervention activated by the Holy Ghost, the purpose of God, and the pursuit of God-centered results—Emmanuel, God with us. If you can engage with all or at least one of these truths, you can turn your situation around and experience a supernatural result.

When God’s purpose aligns with a yielded life, the supernatural becomes the natural outcome. Mary engaged the supernatural because the Holy Ghost came upon her, and God’s purpose required a vessel. Hannah engaged the supernatural because she aligned her desire with God’s agenda — a prophet for the nation (1 Samuel 1:11). Elizabeth engaged the supernatural because heaven needed a forerunner for Christ (Luke 1:13–17). Tabitha was raised from death so that her ministry of compassion could continue blessing the widows (Acts 9:36–42). The centurion’s servant was healed because the centurion’s life had already aligned with God’s heart for His people (Luke 7:3–5). In every case, the supernatural was released where purpose, faith, obedience, and divine intention intersected. You engage the supernatural when your life cooperates with the purposes of God.

Prophetic Word: I declare in the name of Jesus that the supernatural dimension of God is opening over your life. Every situation that has resisted human effort shall now respond to divine intervention. As you align with God’s purpose, His power will invade your circumstances, and you will testify of what only God can do. In Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, I thank You that You are the God of all power and glory. I yield my life afresh to Your purpose. Let my heart, my choices, and my expectations align with Your will. I ask You to release Your supernatural hand upon every situation in my life. Let Your power transform what I cannot fix, and let Your purpose bring forth results that glorify Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name.
