The knowing anointing

“That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” Mark 4:12 KJV

The knowing anointing is a divine empowerment that enables spiritual seeing, hearing, and perceiving beyond natural senses. It is the anointing that allows believers to walk in the light of God’s Spirit and wisdom, unlocking divine secrets and strategies for victorious living. Jesus Himself emphasized this in Mark 4:12, declaring that many see but do not perceive, and hear but do not understand, and so have not received what God has for them, change of life, forgiveness of sin, new things. This is what separates ordinary men from kingdom champions—those who access light from the Spirit and walk in divine understanding. It was this anointing that enabled Elisha to see the heavenly army when his servant only saw danger (2 Kings 6:17). Without it, people stumble in darkness, and as Hosea 4:6 warns, they are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Knowledge in this context is not mere information but revelational insight from the Spirit.

This knowing anointing does more than inform—it transforms. It opens eyes to provision, like when Elisha asked the widow, “What do you have in your house?” (2 Kings 4:2), leading to supernatural multiplication. It brings favor and long-term miracles, as seen when the Shunammite woman discerned that Elisha was a holy man of God (2 Kings 4:9), and received the son she never dared to hope for. Paul prayed fervently that believers would receive the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know their inheritance (Ephesians 1:17–18), for without it, even saints may live far below their divine destiny. The knowing anointing is the light that dispels darkness, the wisdom that ensures success, and the divine perception that preserves and prospers. Like Daniel, who knew how to interpret dreams and visions (Daniel 2:19-23), or Joseph, whose insight brought Egypt to safety in famine (Genesis 41), those who walk in this anointing rise to places of influence and fulfill divine purpose.

Prophetic word: The Spirit of the Lord says, “My child, I am awakening in you the knowing anointing—the eyes that see, the ears that hear, and the heart that perceives. You shall not walk in confusion, for I am giving you light in dark places and clarity in uncertain seasons. I am opening your spiritual eyes to see beyond the natural. No longer shall you miss My leading or ignore My voice. I am making you a discerner of times and seasons. You will know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. My wisdom shall guide you into prosperity, preservation, and divine placement. As you walk in My light, no darkness shall overcome you. The mysteries that hinder others shall be plain to you, and your life shall be a wonder to many.”

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the knowing anointing—the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Lord, open my eyes to see what others cannot see, open my ears to hear the whispers of Your Spirit, and give me a heart that understands Your ways. Let me not be destroyed for lack of knowledge. Fill me with divine insight like Daniel, Joseph, and Elisha. Lead me by Your Spirit into opportunities, protection, provision, and purpose. I decree that the light of the Spirit dispels every form of darkness in my life. I receive the ability to discern Your will, to interpret Your movements, and to walk in alignment with heaven’s agenda. Let this anointing distinguish me and cause me to shine in every field of my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Frustrate their counsel, Oh God!

“The people waited for him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. But when they had waited a long time and saw no harm come to him, THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND and decided he was a god" Act. 28:6 (New Living).

Father, in the name of Jesus, we declare that every evil counsel, every satanic alliance, every plotting in dark places against our lives, families, ministries, and destinies shall come to nothing! Your Word assures us, “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us” (Isaiah 8:10). Like David, we cry out, “O Lord, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness” (2 Samuel 15:31). You did it for David—Ahithophel's deadly strategy was reversed, and his end came by his own hand. Lord, frustrate every Ahithophel in our lives—let their wisdom be as folly and their schemes collapse upon their heads!

Just as the viper fastened itself to Paul’s hand and the people waited for him to fall dead, so have some waited to see our downfall—but their expectations shall fail! Acts 28:6 shows how they changed their minds when nothing happened, and so shall our enemies be confounded (Jeremiah 20:11). Like in Psalms 35:25, we declare they will not say, “We have swallowed him up.” Every plot to trap us will be reversed, like Haman’s gallows turned against him (Esther 7:10). Every Red Sea that Pharaoh trusted will become his grave (Exodus 14:27-28). Arise, O God, scatter their counsel, shake their confidence, and let Your name be glorified in our deliverance. Amen.

There is hope for you!

“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.” Job 14:7-9 KJV

Don’t ever give up. No matter what you face or what faces you, you have hope. Our text this morning reminds us that even when a tree is cut down, it can still sprout again, just at the scent of water. This is a divine metaphor of restoration. Consider Joseph, who was thrown into a pit by his brothers and later imprisoned in Egypt, yet in due season, he rose to become a ruler (Genesis 50:20). Think of Naomi, who lost her husband and sons and declared herself “Mara” (bitter), but God gave her a new future through Ruth and Obed (Ruth 4:13-17). God specializes in rewriting hopeless stories!

As long as there is life, there is hope (Ecclesiastes 9:4), and more importantly, if you are connected to Jesus—the True Vine—you are never beyond recovery (John 15:5). Blind Bartimaeus sat by the roadside, hopeless and forgotten, but he cried out, and Jesus restored his sight (Mark 10:46-52). Hannah prayed in anguish, mocked by her rival, but the Giver of life remembered her, and she bore a prophet (1 Samuel 1:10-20). Your story isn’t over. The One who made dry bones live again (Ezekiel 37:1-10) is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8). So don’t quit—your change will come (Job 14:14).

Prophetic word: Beloved, the Lord says to you today: You shall rise again. Though men have counted you out and circumstances seem to have buried you, I have not forgotten you. I am the Lord who brings life to what was dead and calls forth beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Like the tree in Job 14, you will sprout again. I am sending the rain of My Spirit upon your dry places—dreams shall revive, strength shall return, and doors shall open (Isaiah 32:15). The delay is not your denial. I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth (Isaiah 43:19). Hold on, for your weeping may have endured for a night, but joy is coming in the morning (Psalm 30:5). You are not finished—you are being repositioned for glory.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, the Source of all hope and life, I thank You for being the God who restores. I declare today that no matter what has been lost, cut down, or buried in my life, by Your power it shall live again. Lord, water every dry root in my spirit, my family, my dreams, and my destiny. Let Your Spirit breathe fresh life into every dead situation. I align myself with Your word in Job 14:7-9—there is hope for me! Strengthen my heart to believe, even when I cannot see. I pray that every delay turns into divine acceleration. I stand on Your promises and await my season of renewal, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. 

Walking in Power

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8 KJV

As believers in Christ, the Holy Spirit is our source of power. When He comes upon us, we naturally walk in power. He turns us into witnesses, evidence of God’s kingdom. A believer who is conscious of His presence is naturally dangerous to the enemy and to the kingdom of darkness (Acts 8, 3, and 28; Psalms 66:3). In Acts 2, when the Spirit descended, and Peter, once fearful, preached with such boldness that 3,000 souls were saved. Similarly, Stephen in Acts 6–7, full of faith and power, did great wonders and spoke with wisdom no one could resist, even in the face of death. Elijah called down fire from heaven (1 Kings 18), Samson slew thousands (Judges 15), and David, empowered by the Spirit, defeated Goliath with a sling (1 Samuel 17). These were all men empowered by the Spirit, and so are we in Christ.

This power is for dominion, for victory, and for fulfilling purpose. Jesus declared in Luke 10:19 that He has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us. The early church lived in this reality—Philip cast out demons in Samaria (Acts 8), Paul shook off a viper (Acts 28), and Peter raised the lame man (Acts 3). When you walk in power, your language, response, and atmosphere shift—you speak like one who has authority (Ecclesiastes 8:4), because you represent the King of kings (Revelation 5:10). Even in trials, be conscious of your royal identity and Spirit-empowered mandate. The enemy trembles when a believer knows who they are and walks in the Spirit's power (Psalm 66:3). You are not ordinary—you are a vessel of divine power, called to bring heaven to earth.

Prophetic word: The Lord says, “My power is within you. I have filled you with My Spirit for dominion. Do not look at yourself through the eyes of limitation or weakness, for I have anointed your hands to heal, your mouth to declare, and your feet to trample the works of darkness. This is the hour to rise in full consciousness of who you are in Me. As I was with Moses in the wilderness, David in the valley, and Paul in the storm, so I am with you now. You will lay hands and see recovery, speak and see transformation, and declare and see doors open. Be bold. Walk in power. Walk in My Spirit, for you are My witness and My instrument for this season.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit—the source of divine power in me. Today, I awaken to the reality of who I am in Christ. I declare that I am not weak, I am empowered; I am not fearful, I am bold; I am not a victim, I am a vessel of glory. Let Your power flow through me to heal the sick, to raise the broken, to speak life into dry places. Holy Spirit, quicken my spirit, saturate my mind, and lead me in supernatural wisdom and authority. I decree that every tongue of darkness raised against me is silenced, and every gate closed against my destiny is shattered by the power of God. As I walk this week, I do so as a divine witness—fearless, fruitful, and full of fire. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

Releasing Power

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28 KJV

Believers release power by making bold declarations, making decrees, and speaking faith-filled words. Job even in the Old Testament understood this. When Jesus calmed the storm by saying, “Peace, be still” (Mark 4:39), He demonstrated not just divine authority, but the kind of authority He expects us to walk in. He confirmed this in Mark 11:23, when He said that whoever speaks to a mountain without doubting, but believes, shall have whatever they say. In Matthew 16:19, He declared, “I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven,” indicating the spiritual authority to bind and loose things on earth as it is in heaven. This authority is activated and expressed through our mouths. Decrees made in faith bring heavenly outcomes into earthly reality (Job 22:28).

You cannot live successfully as a believer without speaking to things and situations and expecting what you say to come to pass. The more you have fellowship with the Holy Spirit and meditate on God’s word, the more powerful your words are (John 15:7, John 10:35, Job 22:21). Peter declared healing to the lame man at the temple gate in Acts 3:6, and it happened because he believed and released divine power through faith-filled words. As Proverbs 18:21 teaches, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue,” reminding us that every believer’s tongue is a powerful spiritual weapon.

Prophetic word: The Spirit of the Lord says: "My child, I have placed My word in your mouth like fire, and your declarations shall not fall to the ground. Speak in faith, I will establish it. No longer shall you be silent in the face of resistance—for I am stirring up My boldness in you. As you decree My promises, mountains will move, dry bones will rise, and closed doors will swing open. The atmosphere around you is responding to your voice, for My Spirit is upon you. Speak with confidence, for I am watching over My word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). This is your season of divine establishment. Decree it, believe it, and walk in it, for I am releasing creative power through your tongue.”

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the authority You have given me to decree and declare Your Word. I repent for the times I have been silent or spoken doubt, and I choose today to align my tongue with Heaven. Fill my mouth with Your fire and boldness. Teach me to speak only what You say, and let Your power flow through every word I release. I decree that I am walking in victory, I am healed, I have divine provision, and my steps are ordered by the Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The enemy uses words!

“And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.” 1 Samuel 17:43 KJV

The enemy has always known the power of words and uses them as spiritual weapons. In 1 Samuel 17:43, Goliath cursed David by his gods, attempting to intimidate and spiritually disarm him before the battle began. This tactic mirrors how Balak sought to hire Balaam to curse Israel (Numbers 22:6), knowing that a curse could change the outcome of a battle without a sword being lifted. In Ezekiel 8:7-18, God revealed the abominations in His house—including incantations and secret rituals—showing that dark spiritual forces operate through hidden words and utterances. Likewise, Jezebel conspired with false witnesses to destroy Naboth using the power of a spoken accusation (1 Kings 21:13). The enemy’s strategy has not changed: he speaks through curses, conspiracies, and discouragement, as seen in Nehemiah 4:1-3 when Sanballat and Tobiah mocked the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s wall. Even today, he manipulates through digital misinformation and toxic counsel (1 Samuel 15:31), all designed to plant fear, doubt, or compromise.

But as believers, we are not without power—we too must speak! David didn’t stay silent; he responded with words of faith and covenant identity (1 Samuel 17:45-47). Jesus taught that speaking in faith moves mountains (Mark 11:23), and Paul said, “we believe and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13). Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21), so silence in the face of the enemy is dangerous. Whether through declarations of God’s promises, rebukes of the adversary, or the bold confession of your authority in Christ, your words are your weapons. Don't let the enemy's words be the last in your situation—speak God’s truth, speak life, and speak victory!.

 Prophetic word: Beloved, hear the word of the Lord: “The enemy has spoken against you, but I, the Lord your God, have the final say. His curses shall return upon his own head, and every incantation spoken in darkness shall be shattered by the light of My Word. For I have placed My Spirit within you, and My Word in your mouth is like a sword. Speak, My child! Do not be silent. Prophesy to the dry bones; declare to the mountains. As you speak My Word in faith, I will perform it. I will cause even that which was dead to rise again. The enemy shall be silenced, and My glory shall be revealed in your life.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the power of Your Word in my mouth. Today, I renounce every word of the enemy spoken over my life—every curse, incantation, false counsel, and discouragement. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment is condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, put Your Word like fire in my bones and a sword in my mouth. Teach me to speak life, victory, and truth. I declare I am not silent—I speak as David spoke, I war with Your Word as Jesus did, and I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony (Revelation 12:11). Arise, O Lord, and scatter every enemy speaking against my destiny. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your promises manifest in my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

God keeps His word!

“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Psalm 138:2 KJV

The Word of God is backed by all the Honour that is in His name (Psalms 138:2). His word is settled forever (Psalm 119:89). He can never deny His word: He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19), His word will never return void (Isaiah 55:11). His Word is as powerful as Himself (John 1:3, Hebrews 4:12, Jeremiah 10:12, Genesis 1:1-3). He hastens His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). His word is the basis of His covenant (Genesis 12:1-3). 

No matter how busy you are, meditate in His Word daily. No matter how inconvenient it is, walk in obedience to His Word. This is the secret of the supernatural life. This is the secret of enjoying all of God. To enjoy the fullness of God's promises, we must honor His Word as He does. Psalm 138:2 reveals that God has magnified His Word above all His name—a profound truth that shows the integrity and supremacy of His spoken promises. We must align our words with His Word. As we meditate daily on His Word, obey it, and align our lives with it, we open ourselves to divine transformation (Joshua 1:8, Psalms 1:1-3, John 2:5).

Prophetic word: In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare and decree that every Word God has spoken over your life shall come to pass. Every promise delayed shall be divinely accelerated. As God hastens His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12), so shall His Word manifest swiftly in your life. May your ears be tuned to hear the voice of the Lord clearly, and may your heart be aligned to obey Him fully. Every prophetic word that is in line with His purpose for you shall not fall to the ground. I prophesy open doors, fulfilled destiny, and divine visitation. The same God who fulfilled His promise to Abraham, to Joseph, and to Mary, shall fulfill His Word in you. Walk in faith, walk in obedience, and walk in victory. So shall it be, in Jesus’ name. Amen.  

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You because Your Word is forever settled in heaven. You are not a man that You should lie, nor the son of man that You should change Your mind. I praise You for magnifying Your Word above all Your name. Teach me to love Your Word, to meditate on it day and night, and to walk in obedience to it. Let Your Word shape my thoughts, my choices, and my destiny. Strengthen my faith to trust You even when I cannot see the outcome. Help me to wait patiently, knowing that what You have promised, You are also able to perform (Romans 4:21). Let my life be a testimony of the power and faithfulness of Your Word. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
