“Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.” Psalm 110:3 KJV
Our text declares that willingness is a product of God’s power. God has the ability to touch the hearts of men to rise in support of His purpose in your life. He stirred the hearts of valiant men to follow Saul (1 Samuel 10:26). He commanded a widow to sustain Elijah during a famine (1 Kings 17:9). He moved faithful women to minister to Jesus from their substance (Luke 8:2–3). The same God can also restrain men from harming you (Psalm 105:14–15; Genesis 31:29), He can even make your enemy be at peace with you (Proverbs 16:7, Genesis 33:1-4). When His power is at work in your life, fire loses its ability to burn you (Daniel 3:25), and lions lose their appetite for your flesh (Daniel 6:22). Where divine power reigns, natural laws bow, and people are favorably disposed towards you (Exodus 3:21).
In this new year and beyond, you can expect God to use men for you by allowing His power to be at work in you and through you (2 Chronicles 26:15).
