Say it even if you doubt it!

“Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.” Proverbs 6:2 KJV

Even when God has spoken, your head may still wrestle with doubt. A doubt in your head is not a doubt in your heart. Circumstances may contradict the promise, and your feelings may not yet agree with His Word, but that is not the time to be silent. Speak what God has said, even when your head doubt it. The man in Mark 9:24 cried, “Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief,” and that honest cry became a doorway for divine intervention. Faith does not always begin fully formed; it grows as you keep hearing and declaring the Word. So let your mouth agree with God more than your fears, for “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

Your words matter because they shape both your heart and your direction. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21), and Jesus said, “By thy words thou shalt be justified” (Matthew 12:37). Our text says, you are enared by the words of your mouth. Abraham did not deny the weakness of his body or the barrenness of Sarah’s womb, yet he refused to stagger at God’s promise (Romans 4:20). He kept honoring what God had said until faith became strength. In the same way, keep God’s Word in your mouth as Joshua was commanded (Joshua 1:8). Say it if you believe it, say it until you see it, and say it even if you doubt it at first, because repeated confession turns doubt into conviction and brings your life into agreement with God’s plan.

Prophetic Word: I declare that every trace of fear, wavering, and doubt is giving way to faith in your life. As you continue to speak the Word of God, your heart will be established, your mind will be renewed, and your mouth will become an instrument of victory. Doubt will not silence your destiny. Unbelief will not cancel God’s promise over your life. As you declare what God has said, faith will rise, strength will come, and the Lord will bring His Word to pass in your life. In Jesus’ name.

Prayer: My Father and my God, thank You for Your Word, which is true and unchanging. Even when my faith is weak and doubt confront me, help me to keep speaking in agreement with what You have said. Let Your Word grow strong in me and drive out every doubt and fear. I declare that my mouth will speak life, faith, and victory. What You have promised me shall come to pass. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
