Look unto Jesus.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 (KJV).

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, is crucial for navigating the trials and triumphs of life. Hebrews 12:2 reminds us that Jesus endured the cross, despising the shame, for the joy set before Him, and now sits at the right hand of God. This powerful image calls us to focus on Christ as our ultimate example and source of strength. Just as Peter walked on water when he kept his eyes on Jesus but began to sink when he looked at the wind and waves (Matthew 14:29-30), we too must keep our gaze fixed on Him to navigate the storms of life. Jesus' steadfastness in the face of suffering provides us with a model of endurance and faith, encouraging us to persevere in our own struggles, knowing that He has already overcome the world (John 16:33).

 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33.

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

Moreover, looking unto Jesus means seeking His guidance and emulating His character. John 15:5 emphasizes our dependence on Christ for spiritual vitality and fruitfulness. As we abide in Him, drawing strength and nourishment from His presence, we are empowered to live lives that reflect His love and grace. Furthermore, Philippians 2:5-8 exhorts us to adopt the same mindset as Christ, who humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death. By looking to Jesus and following His example of humility and obedience, we align ourselves with God's will and purpose for our lives. In every situation, whether in joy or suffering, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, our ultimate source of hope and salvation.

When your faith says yes….

 “Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” Matthew 9:27 (KJV).

When your faith says yes, God will never say no. This truth is vividly illustrated in many stories in the Bible, including our text and the story of the centurion in Matthew 8:5–13. The centurion, a man of authority, approached Jesus with unwavering faith, believing that just a word from Him would heal his servant. Jesus marveled at his faith and said, "Go; let it be done for you as you have believed." The servant was healed at that very moment. This powerful narrative underscores the principle that God responds to the measure of our faith. When we approach Him with complete trust, believing in His power and goodness, He is faithful to act on our behalf, aligning His will with our faith-filled requests.

" And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour." Matthew 8:13.

“And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.” Mark 5:34

Similarly, the account of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25–34 further demonstrates this principle. For twelve years, she had suffered and sought healing from many physicians, but it was her faith in Jesus that made the difference. She believed that merely touching his garment would make her whole. Jesus, recognizing her faith, said, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be healed of your affliction." Her story is a testament to the fact that when our faith reaches out, God responds with His miraculous power. As Hebrews 11:6 reminds us, "And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him." Thus, when our faith says yes, it opens the door for God to work wonders in our lives.

This is your day!

 “Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace:” 2 Kings 7:9a (KJV).

This is your day of good news. Just as the lepers in 2 Kings 7:9 recognized the importance of sharing the good tidings they had discovered, today marks a pivotal moment in your life where blessings and breakthroughs are meant to be revealed and celebrated. The same God who provided for them in a time of famine is working mightily in your life. Today, embrace the good news with gratitude and faith, knowing that God’s promises are being fulfilled.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11.

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5

God is opening doors that no man can shut for you (Revelation 3:8). The struggles and trials you've faced will give way to this moment of divine favor and breakthrough. Isaiah 40:31 says, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint." This is your season of renewal and restoration. As you step into this day of good news, let your heart be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Stand firm in the faith, for God is making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and His goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life (Psalm 23:6).

Faith is a winner!

 " And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Matthew 17:20.

When faith is activated, the expected result is inevitable. Faith is a winner anytime and any day. Faith, regardless of its size, can overcome enormous obstacles and challenges. A little faith is enough to solve a big problem. Faith will get you anything on earth. Faith is a powerful force that ensures victory in any situation. When faith is activated, it sets in motion a divine response that makes the impossible possible. Faith is the key to overcoming worldly challenges and securing victory.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." 1 John 5:4

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

Faith is divine wisdom to solve all problems, so faith is the principal thing. When you understand God’s word or receive a revelation from God, a divine wisdom called faith is born. I don’t care to know what you are going through, but I do want to announce to you that there is an answer for you in the wisdom that God will give you through faith.

You are winning this battle, in Jesus’ name.

Gratitude builds faith!

"And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole." Luke 17:17-19.

Gratitude builds faith, and faith will make you whole. If you are struggling to build faith, begin to thank God for everything that He has done and praise Him for who He is. Gratitude plays a vital role in building and strengthening faith, as it shifts our focus from our circumstances to God's unwavering goodness and faithfulness. This truth is also emphasized in Philippians 4:6-7, which states the importance of gratitude in prayer and reveals that thanksgiving is integral to experiencing God's peace, which in turn fortifies our faith, helping us to trust in His provision and sovereignty.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

The instruction in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 underscores that gratitude is not conditional but a consistent expression of faith, acknowledging God's presence and purpose in every situation. Similarly, Psalm 100:4-5 calls us to "enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good, and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." This psalm highlights that recognizing and celebrating God's enduring goodness and faithfulness through gratitude strengthens our faith, as it reminds us of His unchanging nature and His promises. Thus, gratitude becomes a powerful practice that deepens our trust in God and reinforces our faith in His everlasting love and care.

The Joy Key

 "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation." Isaiah 12:3.

In our text, the prophet speaks of the profound spiritual refreshment found in the "wells of salvation," emphasizing that it is with joy that believers draw water from these wells. Biblically, these wells represent the abundant and eternal resources available through God's salvation—grace, forgiveness, peace, prosperity, and eternal life. Salvation, as depicted in John 4:14, is a wellspring that provides continual sustenance and fulfillment, ensuring that those who drink from it will never thirst again. Additionally, Psalm 36:9 portrays God as the "fountain of life," whose light provides an unending source of life and vitality. Together, these references illustrate the multifaceted blessings found in the well of salvation, encompassing both spiritual nourishment and divine grace.

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4

“Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10.

Joy is the essential key to accessing the riches of salvation. This joy is not merely an emotional response, but a profound sense of gladness rooted in faith and trust in God's promises. Philippians 4:4 encourages believers to "rejoice in the Lord always," highlighting that joy in the Lord is a continual state that empowers believers to draw from the wells of salvation. Nehemiah 8:10 further reinforces this by declaring that "the joy of the Lord is your strength," indicating that this joy provides the necessary vigor and resilience to tap into God's abundant provisions. Thus, joy acts as a conduit, allowing believers to fully experience and draw upon the life-giving water of salvation, resulting in a deeper relationship with God and a more fulfilled spiritual life.

A cheerful heart!

 "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." Proverbs 17:22.

A cheerful heart is good medicine—the best for your body, soul, and spirit. You need a cheerful heart for both a healthy life and a motivated life. A cheerful heart can get you anything you need. Fortunately, you don’t need money (cash) to buy this medicine; you just need spiritual discipline and the help of the Holy Spirit. You must keep a cheerful heart when your physical situation is or is not looking good. Stop complaining and murmuring; in all things, give thanks. Never allow anything to break your spirit. Do not allow things, situations, and circumstances to determine the state of your heart. They are all subject to change. Take charge of the gate of your heart (Prov. 4:23). Let your thanksgiving be more than your prayer request.

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17.

If you desire to keep your heart cheerful, you must pray for everything and worry about nothing. Secondly, you must be content with what you have; never worry about what you don’t have. Pray about it, find out what it takes to have it, and do it, but never allow it to take away the joy in your heart. Thirdly, you must believe that God is at work in your life. Don’t be afraid; only believe. God is faithful and will not allow you to go down (Psalm 34:19, Proverbs 24:16). Fourthly Give thanks in all situations. For him who is joined to the living, there is hope; for a living dog is better than a dead lion. Lastly, if anyone has offended you, forgive and release the person.
