Winner mentality

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Philippians 2:5

A victorious saint is conscious of the fact that God is for him, and so no one, no situation, no power can be against him. He carries a winner mentality in every situation that he finds himself in. He is conscious of the finished work of Christ, the defeated devil, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Because of this mindset, he knows that either way in every situation, he wins. He knows that whatever is against him is against God and whatever is against God has been finished. Because of this mindset, he says no to sin, he binds the devil and cast him out, he is bold in prayer, he is confident of the mercy of God to obtain favor, he makes bold declarations and takes territories.

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:37

“And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But he passing through the midst of them went his way,” Luke 4: 29-20

David, a seventeen-year-old inexperience but anointed is a good example of a saint with a winner mentality. He went after Goliath and defeated him. This was because of his consciousness of the presence of God within and without him. Jesus simply walked through the midst of the enemy that wanted to cast him down headlong. Beloved, it does not matter what it looks like, you cannot be defeated because you are a child of God. Approach whatever you are going through with this mindset. For as a man thinks in his heart so is he (Proverbs 23:7a)

Prayer for today: I claim my victory in every situation in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Through faith

“Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions." Hebrews 11:33

Most of the things we should accomplish with our lives are beyond us and will always require faith to make it happen. Faith in the sense that you have to (1) believe that it can be done and that God is with you and will help you; (2) declare it and pray about it (3) work on it with your whole heart and strength (4) be consistent and persistent until you accomplish it. You should know by now that all things are possible, and that whatever is in the heart of a man can become a reality no matter how difficult or impossible it appears. This means that if an idea comes into your heart and you mark it impossible, you are killing yourself. If God promises you something and you are doubting it, you are wounding yourself.

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8

God asked me to tell you this morning, “Go for it, it can be done” You can get that degree. You can start that business. You can get married and have children. You can get that job. You can start that ministry. Whatever He has put in your heart can be done!!!

Prayer for today: In the name of Jesus, I am subduing kingdoms, walking in righteousness, obtaining promises and stopping the mouth of lions.

Connecting to His grace

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Cor 12:9

Beloved, we are not strong at all times and in everything. God must be God. Man must be a man. But God’s ability is available in man through grace. God’s grace is available to the humble. You can actually appear strong all the time even at the time of your weakness if you understand how to connect to the grace of God. Whenever you sense weakness, quickly connect to His grace.

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

Perhaps you are in a period of weakness right now. What is confronting you is beyond you. Simply ask God to help you. Tell Him to give you grace and to take over from you. He cares so much for you and He will give you grace and help you. You don’t have to be a superman to kill a Goliath, move a mountain, or stop the mouth of a Lion. You only need to be an ordinary man who carries within himself, the Super God.

May you receive grace every day of this month in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I connect to God’s grace that I need in such a time as this in Jesus name.

Programming the time and the season 2

“Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?” Job 38:12-13

If the wicked has taken over your time and season, I decree that the power of God shall shake them out of it in the name of Jesus. Beloved, you have to be in charge of the time and the season to be in charge of the happenings around you. You have what it takes to do so. You have the wisdom and the power of God through Christ Jesus. Jesus specifically told the disciple to go for power when they became concerned about the time of restoration. You can program the time and season to your favor by speaking to it in the name of Jesus

“When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and…….” Acts 1:6-8

“And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.” 2 kings 20:10

God made the day to go back for Hezekiah’ sake. You have the power over time and season to influence it for your testimony. Learn to wake up early in the morning or to pray through the night to speak to the day. Also, learn to use the beginning of the month to speak to the month and the beginning of the year to speak to the year. If you take hold of your time and season in the name of Jesus, you will have a profitable and fruitful season.

May the program of the wicked be cancelled over your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, Let this time and season bring me remarkable progress in Jesus name.

Programming the time and the season 1

“Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.” Joshua 10:12

The quality of a human’s life is determined by time and season. The productivity and fruitfulness of human being are time and season dependent. As a child of God, you must understand how to take charge of time and season to favor your life and your destiny.  What do you do when the stars have been programmed against you? What do you do when the season and time have been scheduled against you? You must understand your authority to change time and seasons.

“They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.” Judges 5:20

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16

The evidence that time and season have been programmed against a person includes failure where success was guaranteed, frustration, disappointment, and others. Beloved the happening in nations does not determine the happening with you. You must take authority over time and seasons and speak to it until it obeys you and changes to favor you. Joshua took authority over the sun and the moon because this was needed to secure his victory. Don’t give any excuse for the enemy to continue to determine your fate using time and season.

May this time and season bring you progress and fulfilment in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, bless me and increase me in such a time like this in Jesus name.

Your true strength 6

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:22

Your true strength is reflected in your capacity to obey God. Obedience to God gives you access to the best of God in life. Obedience to God makes you indomitable when the enemy attacks you. Obedience to God creates a safe zone for you in the midst of this tempestuous world. Obedience to God keeps you standing despite the storms of life. The wisest thing to do on earth is to obey God.

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” Matthew 7:24-25

“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:6

Beloved, what you do with God’s specific instructions for your life is what determines your strength in this world. The best thing that can happen to you is to hear God. The best thing you can do with it is to obey. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.

May you live in obedience to God at all times in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to live a life of total obedience to Your word in Jesus name.

Your true strength 5

“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12

Your true strength is reflected in your capacity to trust God with your life. This is the consciousness of the presence of God with you and in you, which gives you boldness that it is going to be good come what may. This excludes worry and anxiety out of your life when in the midst of the storms of life. It gives you guarantee that the determinant of the outcome is your God and not the storm.

“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:.” Job 19:25-26

“And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship………. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:22-25

Beloved, your future is predictable if God is with you and you know it. God will not only deliver you, He will establish and increase you. Your weeping may endure for a night, joy is guaranteed in the morning. Choose the company of those who trust God. They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever (Psalm 125:1).

May you be guided by your trust in God in every situation you find yourself in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to trust you more and more in Jesus name.
